4 years I have been waiting for the Alice in Wonderland Live action movie which be finally be release on March 19, 2010.Which will be directed by Tim Burton and will utilize a technique combining live action, motion capture technology and stop motion.
I never was able to finish reading the book but the disney version is one of my favorite animated movies. So while I wait for the new movie which will turn the classic version we all know
Into This more realistic version..
I came across a youtube music video which I thought will be another video until I saw it , and damn ,.. It's the best Fan made alice in wonderland music video ever made in my opinion and that's mostly because the guy who made it actually made the remix song himself . Is it another song by yet another DJ ?? The music is a electronic piece of which 90% is composed using sounds recorded from the Disney film 'Alice In Wonderland'. I have heard this method be use before ( in one of my favorite songs "BatDance" by Prince) But this guy does it so well that I can't tell where the sounds from the movie start and end . This guy has alot of creativity and with a sound as crazy as a Basement Jaxx song I decided to check more on him .
Here's his info from his site
Perth, Australia
A refreshing mix of hip hop and trippy sounds, creating music that you can listen to over and over again.
Pogo’s real name is Nick Bertke. He currently lives in Perth, Australia.
And here's the trippy mind soothing video
All I have to say is .... Get this guy into the soundtrack of the new film !! Yeah I know I'm asking the impossible since we all know that all Tim Burton Films have Danny Elfman
and I know how some of you feel about him.
But still , I think it will nice of them to include music that's not in the movie and since it's Distributed by Walt Disney Pictures so it will be nice to make references to the classic animated movie in one way or another .This song might be out of place in the movie's soundtrack or even in a rerelease soundtrack of the Disney Animated film , but hey , it's way better than having one those Disney own bands like the Jonas Brothers,Cheetah girls or Hanna Montana do a remake of The Unbirthday Song. Yeah that's something we can agree on .
Check out more of Pogo's tracks at http://www.last.fm/music/Pogo . He also has a mix of the movie Around The World With Dot and the 1956 film 'The King & I'.
And here's the cast of the movie as far as people know.
Mia Wasikowska as Alice
Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter
Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen.Carter's head will be increased in size by three times on screen.
