I've had a Samsung for around 3 years now and I couldn't be happier. Despite your poor experience, I'd say don't give up on 'em. They're my favorite for sure.
Anyway, I'm diggin all these podcasts. Keep up the great work.

umm the dark night was awesome and i did like it better than avatar but the only problem i had with it was it took so long to get to any of the action other than that i loved it

To be honest! I didn't really like Avatar!
Reason its because I believe they dragged out the story way too much!
Especially the beginning! and the fighting! you like saying to yourself "When will this END!"
But I think some people are too afraid to say something bad about Avatar!
With the Dark Knight you were never bored! you will always at the edge of your seat! thinking what going happen next!

Did you know you could actually get REALLY nice DLP or LCD Projectors for less than most people pay for their 50 - 60 inch HDTV's? And the picture is AMAZING!! You should think about giving that a shot... Here's a pic of mine on a 124 Inch Screen...

I honestly think 09 has been a poor year for films. In fact, the entire decade hasn't been that crash hot IMO, at least not for American film, but movies did pick up dramatically between 2005-2008 i felt. I really liked 3 movies this year: Gomorrah, Antichrist and Two Lovers. Two of those films were actually released officially in 2008 to my knowledge. The Hurt Locker, District 9 and A Serious Man were quite good also. Apart from that, i just saw enjoyable fluff, nothing more.
as for The Karate Kid remake, c'mon. seriously. If you want to see this for any other reason than morbid curiosity, you need to get your head examined ;-)

I just bought a 42 incher it was a Libyan brand and when I hit channel 88 I blew out the flux capacitor ...those Libyans their bastard TVs cant even do channel 90!
