Pineapple Express truly is great.
The movie tells the story of Dale Denton (Seth Rogen), a pothead who is a process server. He goes by day-to-day giving people legal documents, while dealing with his girlfriend who is in High School. During the course of his day he goes to visit his dealer Saul (James Franco). He shows Dale a new poruct called Pineapple Express (hence the title). Later that day, while Dale is about to serve his next target, he parks across the street from Ted Jones to smoke. A drug lord who takes murder seriously. While Dale sits there he sees a female police officer, walks in with ease. Ted and the police officer kill some Asian guys, and Dale freaks out, and after constantly backing up into cars he manages to get away. Since PE is so rare and the only person with it is is Saul, Ted automatically traces i to him through Red (Mcbride). Saul and Dale pack up and are on the move. From then on we see some AWSOME!!!! action scenes that are also funny. I won't spoil the last 20 minutes because they are insane.
Pros: This movie is the funniest movie I've seen since Forgetting Sarah Marshall. These action scenes are great. Franco and Rogen are kinda like their characters on Freaks and Geeks, which is a good thing.
Cons:The first 20 minutes are kinda slow, but when the chase begins, it gets going and i mean Going, it was nonstop fun.
Overall: Full Price, no doubt in my mind.
