Okay so I'm not a big fan of whiney cry baby blogs about peoples lives, but here I am about to write one. Ya' see I just got out of a four year relationship and am dealing with some sad times. Why am I telling you guys about this? I really don't know...it seems like the only fun times I've been having lately is talking to all the cool kids here on spill. You all totally rock!
Anyways, I've been feeling kinda down and I was trying to think of what movie I should watch to turn my frown upside down. At first I was thinking some corny chick flick like Spice World or Josie and the Pussycats, but I'm not in the mood to see a bunch of crazy chicks running around giggling and junk. So what movie did I decide to watch? What movie could possibly take my mind off the bad times and be totally awesome at the same time?

That's right! The freakin' Punisher!!! The one that came out in 1989 when I was 2 years old! This movie has violence, ninjas, yakuza, the mob, and my hero Dolph Lundgren...what a hunk! Nothing in the world can make me feel as great as when I watch this badass movie! It's so bad that its awesome!

I highly recommend Big Trouble in Little China.

Though not a film I would choose, it's great that you can find solace in such a cheesey action adventure.

I feel ya Amanda! I always watch this trailer when people don't agree with me. Like Korey who thought "Inside" sucked. I pretend the Punisher is me blowing him and all the crew away. HELL YEAH I don't like people who don't agree with me!
PUNISHMENT IS IN ME!

I always figured violence and action helped make people feel better. That whole schaudenfreude concept maybe?

Nice. I didn't think the first Punisher was a great movie, but I did like Dolph Lundgren in it.
