Well, I have been seeing some movies (of course) and I've seen blogs and heared somethings about new movies. There are some that are atchually caught my attention.

Alright lets start with the one I'm a little iffy about. Coraline tradtionally this is called the dark Alice in Wonderland, its all about a girl named, you guess it, Coraline who opens a door to an alternate reality which is basically weird and fantastic and well, much like Alice in Wonderland, is a like a crazy acid trip. Of course she has a different family and they want her to stay forever. And she has to reset everythung back to normal. Now, I generally like this book, I think Coraline wasn't a memorable character. Well next summer they're making this into a movie with Dakota Fanning (FYI I really just don't like her at all, nothing personal I don't know she just bugs me) as the title character. Also this is the same director as the Nightmare Before Christmas, Henry Selick. Now I really hope this movie does justice to the book but you never know, I'm also not sure the date the chose was right for this sort of movie. I would atchually shoot for Christmas.

Twilight as any teenage girl knows is going to become a movie. Seriously I JUST finished the book, and I have to say I thought it was very well written and had a cool premise. Now I saw the trailer for this thing and I wasn't impressed. It looked pretty... well, dull. It was very pretty to look at but I just felt empty after watching it. Now some people may pounce on me for this but I just tell as I see it. Though with the right director I'll probably see it, (I know you probably say "Well looke it up!" but I feel like getting to my 3rd one) I really don't know much about the series but my Spill senses a Matinee


A Great and Terrible Beauty, my favorite, This book is like the perfect balance between Jane Austan and Harry Potter. Led by her visions and the ghost or spirt (you choose) of her dead mother, Gemma Doyle takes her boarding school clique (basically the 1800's version of Mean GIrls) deep into mystical realms controlled by an ancient group of women called the Order. I dug the hell out of this book, and it would make a kick ass movie if you ask me. Now this comes out hell knows when :I. Which sucks but hey all good things come to those who are willing to wait.
