I present the good people of Spill.Com with my top five favorite animates features that are LONG overdue for the leap to the big screen. These cartoons have in them great potential, if done properly, to make a huge amount of cash money. With out delay lets get this party started.
5.) The Powerpuff Girls

Before you say anything yes back in the long forgotten year of 2002 they did get an animated movie for the theaters but I am calling for a live action version instead. With certain comic book movies making outrageous sums of money these three girls would be the perfect entry level movie for young girls.
4.) Captain Planet and the Planeteers

Just hear me out on this one before you start to throw your popcorn at me. Yes they were corny, but that can all be fixed with a little retooling of all the characters in the show. Instead of making everyone super mega good, they could just be normal people. Everyone know when you give normal people control over the elements the first thing they think of doing is not to try to stop a forest fire.
3.) Gundam – Wing

The number three spot was actually a time between G Gundam and Gundam Wing but I had to give it up to the these group of youngsters because they actually had a coherent story while G Gundam was littered with plot holes. With Transformers, and being seriously disappointed it was Beast Wars Transformers, I figured it is the right time for a giant robot political drama. Think about it for a second you get even better kickass giant robot fighting scenes, and don’t have to sit through the horrible jokes…win win.
2.) The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest

All I can say is hell freakin yeah! Johnny Quest is the young Indiana Jones not that crappy movie series they tried to force down our throats. This could be a very fun kids action adventure movie. Why let Spy Kids have all the glory? Literally with Quest the possibilities are endless.
1.)Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex

I say this with all due respect the original Ghost in the Shell movie was horrid trash. When I caught the Stand Alone Complex on Adult Swim I was hooked. The Laughing Man, the Individual Eleven, and the Solid State Society are all animated masterpieces. This is something that is so easy to bring to the big screen that I fear that because of that same reason who ever they get to make it would screw it up big time. You want a modern day Blade Runner? Look no further than Ghost in the Shell S.A.C.
