I dunno about most... but I'm thinking this is shaping up to be a really good adaption based on what I've seen from the trailers.
Of the several people that have seen early showings of the movie they all say that the trailers add more of a "creepy" vibe, but that the movie itself is much better in terms of real dramatic moments. Something I personally loved about the the original. It was already scary because of the subject matter, but it was the performances that made it such a great film.

Hopefully Matt Reeves will do this justice. I like the trailer (no stupid music this time) ~_^
