2009 MTV VMA'S OVERVIEW (NO WINNER OVERVIEW THOUGH)
Last night was the 2009 VMA's (Video Music Awards). It was amazing. Exept for a few things. It was preety crazy Kanye West dissing Taylor Swift, Russel Brand...well just Russel Brand, and Lady Gaga with.....stuff, and not to mention the highlight the Michael Jackson tribute, but let's talk about this in more detail...
Preshow:
I only watched some of it,but I hated how they forced the Michael Jackson tribute that's all they talked about which I think is just being disrespectful. I loved Jermaine Jackson's remark "It's gonna kick ass", I think the Twitter thing was intersesting, but other than that I didn't watch much it was a necessary preshow and the MJ tribute commercial with the gloves falling from the sky was just amazing.
Opening:
The opening was Madonna coming up on stage talking about Michael Jackson and thier times with each other. It was a fantastic speech. I acually teared when she said "Then he held my hand...he was looking for a friend". I loved listening to her The Queen of Pop is talking about The King of Pop just great. One of Madonna's best speeches. To me one of the best opening of all time.
The Michael Jackson Tribute:
This was the highlight of the show and posably the highlight of the VMA's ever. It opened with the intro to the first time Michael's Thriller was shown on TV on MTV, then it goes into a fantastic dance moment with dancers dancing to Thriller, while Thriller is playing on the screen. Then they danced to Bad. Smooth Criminal was great I loved that. I also loved how every dancer dressed in various Michael Jackson apperal from the Beat it outfit to the sparkeliy outfit that he wore to the Grammy Awards. It closes with Janet Jackson comign oput to dance to Scream, and what was grwat about this was Michael was dancing one the screen while Janet danced with him on stage as like a contrast. The last shot was Michael and Janet's faces and Michael's fading with the shades. It was marvelous. R.I.P. Michael

Russel Brand was just crazy he's funny but he's just nuts just watch this video and that's all you need to know about it.
Kanye Disses Taylor:
Thisd was not suprising to me. My friend was like "Something is going to happen eigther with a act or a comment" he was right. Taylor Swift won Best Female Video, in the middle of her speech here comes Kanye West and he disses her by saying "Beyonce had one of the greatest videos off all time". I felt bad for Taylor Swift she looked heartbrooken. Kanye West stop making music stop being famous everyone HATES you now. He's such a wus. He gets mad at everything he get's pissed when he dosn't win awards and he doean't deserve anything. I'm not a big Taylor Swift fan but I feel bad. Kanye f*ck you
Performances:
All I can say is they were pretty damn good, but Lady Gaga is really weird...
Film Trailers or clips:
There were two trailers. One for New Moon (don't care) 2 for Michael Jackson's This is It (care). Now I'm a HUUUUUGGEEEEEEEEe MJ fan I loved him he was the best, and this film's trailer just drew mw in. I wanted to see what this concert would of been like and judging from the trailer it looked better than ther HiStory tour. I'm seeing it a lot. I can say it looks amazing That's great. New Moon eh don't care it looks cheap and clighe. It sucks, but This is It looks great I'm loving it.

Wrap Up:
I enjoyed watching it, and I loved the MJ stuff, and I looked one in wierdness to Lady Gaga I laughed at Russel Brand and got pissed at Kanye. Great award show proboably one of the best. If you missed it definetly watch it if it comes on again or watch it on the internet. I loved it and can't wait till 2010.

i still don't know who the fuck let russel brand host again but he wasn't as bad as last year
as far as performances, the best in vma history and every award given out was deserved

Well, that was a very blunt and pointless way to tell the world that you're lapping at Mr. West's feet, kevin Mccoy. Good job with the endless dribble and bringing in Donald Trump when you started off with West and Swift. Shows how effective you are at staying on track.

Where do i begin??? Screw the VMA's and MTV. What's this all really about? I'll tell you, a 32 year old BLACK male hip hop artist, trashing a 19 year old WHITE country singing woman. Any one who as ever turned on mtv or listened to music know there is no way taylor swift shoulda won that award. First off, how does beyonce win best video of the year but loses best female video of the year, doesn't make any sense!!!! Then you can say, "oh well they were jus' spreadin' it around" well if that's the case they did a pissy job of that too, cuz kanYe was nominated for 5 categories and won nothing. Eminem however won twice for "We made you" and that wasn't even that great and i'm an em fan. People keep bashing kanYe, Trump even Twitters that all should boycott his music, all over what, a matter of opinion? This is a racist thing no matter what anyone says, if Taylor gets up and says Eminem should win over kanYe, would they have asked her to leave the show...Don't think so. And everyone who says Kanye is pointless and he sucks and he's a pig....Jus' call him a N*gger and get it over with!!!!!!!!!!!! Cuz the man's got countless grammy's to prove he's the best out right now

Russell Brand?! Kanye West?!?!!? New Twilight Movie Scene?!?!?!? The Revelation that MTV manages to still play videos in between episodes of 'The Hills' and '16 and Pregnant'?!!?!!
What was I thinking when I decided to miss this??? Oh well... Everyone knows MTV only plays the VMA's once a year so it's not like there will be any encores or repeats. They're rather modest with their productions and hardly ever toot their own horn... *sigh* Next year!!! *shakes fist!*

Kanye West....
God, what an ass hole. What a drunk, stupid, ignorant, conceded, tactless mother fucking waist of space.
Taylor Swift is 19 years old. I'm pretty sure she's still new to the spotlight, but immensely talented non the less. She wins an award, and in the middle of her acceptance speech, some stupid useless mother fucker grabs the mike out of her hands, and in few words tells her that she didn't deserve to win. Now, that's a matter of opinion. People voted for her, she won, that's that. Doesn't take away from those who didn't win, it just is what it is. People in support Kanye and his actions are obviously retarded, and should try and understand that when you do something cruel, no matter what the intent, it is never right. I am a moderate fan of Taylor Swift, and I was a fan of Kanye West until now.
Here's hoping that this dumb-ass drives his carrier strait to the ground.
