A Quintet Of New 'Jack The Giant Slayer' Posters

But hold on, we're not done loading up your plate before the weekend! We've also got five new posters for Bryan Singer's 'Jack the Giant Slayer.' The movie stars Nicholas Hoult as the titular pain the side of the gargantuan antagonists. The new posters, when arranged end-to-end, reveal a familiar giant maxim...with a slight amendment that references a character in the new movie. I'm still not sure how I feel about this project, but I like the playful promotion. Take a look a the posters below and let us know what you think.

'Jack the Giant Slayer' hits theaters March 1st

Looks like the "Foe" picture ripped off The Avengers

Well, now I know that the same marketing team who promoted The Hobbit are still working on the Warners lot.

Man, these look atrocious. And considering we're trying to sell the idea that these things are giants, why are the posters just closeups of their faces? It would have been nice to get  sense of how big they are, maybe try to invoke a sense of wonder with the marketing, but NOOOOOOOO. Generic face shots.

You know, at least the posters of Bilbo, Gandalf, and the Dwarves faces had some personality (and at least they all had features that made them look different from one another). These guys all look like dumb brutes, and the only thing that sets one of them apart is the fact that he has 2 heads.

But what should you expect from a film where all the prop arms and armor look like they were bought at Toys R Us?

...Sorry. I'm done ranting.

I don't understand why they made the giants look like freaks of nature. Giants looked like normal just on a larger scale.
