Spill Live Call In Show - Django Unchained Discussion

People loved our video review for Tarantino's slave revenge fantasy, but our audio review seemed to cause a bit of controversy. Our opinions don't exactly coincide with popular opinion, so I thought it might good to have a nice, civil dialogue about our criticisms.

And, you know, I just love to talk.

Everybody knows that words hurt. They use this word blacks and whites as a way to keep a person from growng. In turn you can't help the next person you meet either white, black, asian and hispanics.Words can give you cancer;can cause diseases.Even experiencs can make you sick;can causes you too go crazy.

If you don't see it in a movie you will see it in the wrk place but it is there.When you are applying for a job.When you have a job and you are the only blonde, only black,only asian or mexican.Then comes to  point when shit hits the fan and they point to you as being the reason why they failed.

Quentin Tarantino would really piss people off if he made a biblical epic like Ben Hur. People would be shitting bricks with that one.

Has someone pointed out the that the same people who keep telling Leon and Korey to separate their opinion and sensibilities (i.e. race, identity) from the movie are the first ones to get so THOROUGHLY butt-hurt in the comments sections whenever they feel their religion or 2nd amendment follies threatened by an ACOCO discussion.

It's just kind of funny.

I found Ted more offensive that Django Unchained.

I say this with no irony: that's an inaccurate opinion.

The Klansmen scene was the one scene that felt out of place. It should have been left out.

TARANTINO SPEAKING ON HIS NEXT PROJECT:
"There's something about this that would suggest a trilogy. My original idea for 'Inglourious Basterds' way back when was that this [would be] a huge story that included the [smaller] story that you saw in the film, but also followed a bunch of black troops, and they had been f--ked over by the American military and kind of go apes--t. They basically -- the way Lt. Aldo Raines and the Basterds are having an "Apache resistance" -- [the] black troops go on an Apache warpath and kill a bunch of white soldiers and white officers on a military base and are just making a warpath to Switzerland... I was going to do it as a miniseries, and that was going to be one of the big storylines. When I decided to try to turn it into a movie, that was a section I had to take out to help tame my material. I have most of that written. It's ready to go; I just have to write the second half of it... That would be the third of the trilogy. It would be [connected to] 'Inglourious Basterds,' too, because Inglourious Basterds are in it, but it is about the soldiers. It would be called 'Killer Crow' or something like that."

@Korey

Thanks for taking my call Korey. It was really nice talking to you. I've actually been considering moving to Austin once I finish college.
