i really enjoyed it and had a great time this movie was what i wanted seen i was a young child looking at all the horror films i couldnt watch so i would imagine about full price

i couldnt listen to this review as soon as i started to hear the your hate. This is one of those movies i want to decide on myself. I loved the first one and i know a lot of people hated it. i know the story changed and even charaters were movied around but i still though it had the main aspects of a good silent hill. i found it very atmospheric and creepy it had and it had the dective kind of feel to it with the clue following and most importantly the music was amazing. im not sure about this one from tyhe trailer but i will need to decide for myself

The probably should have gone with the SH2 game type story. Where the psychological horror comes from the protagonist fighting their inner demons or secrets. They could have made their own original story and maybe even come up with their own original monsters, instead of trying to place as much stuff from the games as possible just for fanservice and puting concepts from the 1st and 3rd games into a convoluted mess of a story. I keep forgetting Hollywood isn't talented enough to do something like that.

I enjoyed the 1st movie, but after hearing reviews for this one I'm afraid to even watch it. Its suffering the RE syndrome too early. I enjoyed the first 2 REs but the ones after were just shitty.

they REALLY enjoy fucking up video games these days don't they? I mean i thought the 1st Silent Hill was atleast decent for having that same type of atmosphere as the game did..close atleast (but the ending was HORRIBLE..like a clusterfuck of a mess..I hate when movies do that..they try to throw everything at you just so you think a lot is going on when really its just stupid)...buuuuuuut if THAT one was better than this one (being a big fan of the series..or atleast the 1st few games)..Im guessing I should stay faaaaaar away from this.

a decade ago..Resident Evil came to theaters I thought "awesome theyre turning one of my favorite games into a movie"...a decade later "SHIT will they stop making these shitty video game rip-offs...ENOUGH with those awful Resident Evil movies and..oh wow another Silent Hill to fuck up? Will they just stop!?" 

Someone get me a hi-def camera...ill REALLY show them what a video game movie should be.
