Comment by Saluki Knight on August 1, 2012 at 10:18pm Revolver works based on which cut of the movie you watch. I think I ended up watching 3 different versions of the movie before finding one that made sense. If I'm grateful for the movie it's mainly for a couple of things, it has a kick-ass soundtrack and it introduced me to Mark Strong. Sorter was easily my favorite character. Also, partner of Ray Liotta wasn't Common, it was Terence Maynard.

Comment by Cameron Johnson on August 1, 2012 at 3:53pm I once heard an interview with Heath Ledger, in which he discussed then-upcoming projects, such as "Doctor Parnassus" and, yes, even "The Tree of Life" (I would have loved to have seen him in that, even though he probably wouldn't have made the film any less boring). May I be struck down if he didn't cap off his list of future events with, "And then I'll fall to the ground dead!" Sounds like he got his schedule mixed up. "The Dark Knight" is temendously overrated, but there's no overrating his performance. Oh man, I miss him, but I suppose I'm going to have to accept the fact that "he's not there". ...Look it up, it was a really good film and Cate Blanchett made for a great dude.
Comment by Thomas the Vet on August 1, 2012 at 1:26pm Slender Man was created at the Something Awful Forums in a thread entitled "Create Paranormal Images." He is described as wearing a black suit strikingly similar to the visage of the notorious Men In Black, and as the name suggests, appears very thin and able to stretch his limbs and torso to inhuman lengths in order to induce fear and ensnare his prey. Once his arms are outstretched, his victims are put into something of a hypnotized state, where they are utterly helpless to stop themselves from walking into them. He is also able to create tendrils from his fingers and back that he uses to walk on in a similar fashion to Doc Ock, the Spider-Man villain in the Marvel Universe. The superhuman stretching ability could also be seen as a similiarty between himself and Mr. Fantastic of the Fantastic Four. Whether he absorbs, kills, or mearly takes his victims to an undiclosed location or dimension is also unknown as there are never any bodies or evidence left behind in his wake to deduce a definite conclusion.
