DieHardAlien posted a songThis week's coverage of new titles was a bit more abbreviated than usual due to SOMEBODY needing to go out of town, not naming any names (BRIAN!). But we all make up for our early recording by throwing in a very special segment on... well, just listen and see for yourself.

Comment by Jim Kata on August 24, 2012 at 10:55pm Can't believe you didn't mention the "cat poo!" scene in The Car.
Comment by Luke Mullen on July 28, 2012 at 4:37pm @StevenSpillberg74 I am HUGELY envious of you having met Peter Cushing. Can you feel the seething jealousy across the pond? Also, it's funny, I always think I sound rather stupid when hearing myself talk. So thank you for your kind words, sir. I will take them to heart.
Comment by StevenSpillberg74 on July 28, 2012 at 9:43am Another superb RM. AS ALWAYS.
@Brian 'Lord' Salisbury - Just the one thing here; TAKE ME WITH YOU!!! Canada is where I want to end up some day. I've been twice, I have family over there and I love it so much. Just have a think on it at least..... (Btw, the film with the scary killer Santa is the original "Tales From The Crypt" from 1972 - that is the first story with Joan Collins when she was actually young and hot and not pretending to be through Jim Henson's workshop). The remake of that story for the modern Tales From The Crypt series is much better with the great Larry Drake :) I am a huge fan of all the anthology films especially the ones my country knocked out in the 70's, all that great stuff from Amicus, Tyburn and the like. And I'm 100% with you on "From Beyond The Grave".
I was very fortunate enough in my lifetime to meet the late, great Peter Cushing, twice in fact, when I was a precocious teenager. He lived in Whitstable in Kent which is where my nan used to live and he would often go to a certain restaurant in town for lunch. As a somewhat hardcore Hammer fan growing up, I was so delighted to have met him and I can tell you for a fact he was every inch the perfect gentleman and as gracious as you would think he is. I got his autograph twice (and another for my friend) which I still treasure to this day. Sadly he died a few years later and was very frail at the time I saw him as he had been knocked off his bicycle. You don't get many celebrities/truly talented sorts today that are like that, a rare breed indeed. I just wish I could meet Christopher Lee :)
@Luke Mullen - you really have one of the coolest, laconic voices I've ever heard next to Brian and Cyrus and I envy you all for it because my voice is fucking bleughhh :(
Toodles :)
Comment by Luke Mullen on July 27, 2012 at 6:45pm @Ashanti79 thanks so much for listening and commenting! That is a great explanation that makes perfect sense. Thanks for letting us know. Once again, not knowing Arabic gets me in trouble. Please comment more often!
Comment by SirD. on July 27, 2012 at 9:51am I remember catching one of the A Chinese Ghost Story films on late night tv and I loved it! It was the same way that I was introduced to the Godzilla films and brought such a nostalgic moment with how different these foreign films are and the culture. Will def. be checking these films out. Also, Twilight would have been 100% better if vampires hopped! Bella"Edward, why can't you stand still? Why are you hopping?" Brings a tear to my eye, lol.
Comment by Travis Pickle on July 27, 2012 at 6:57am Great show

Comment by Brian Salisbury on July 27, 2012 at 1:13am WhitestDiaz--Or at least he would be right on the money...if there was a Yemen river, which there definitely is not.
Comment by WhitestDiazEver on July 26, 2012 at 12:38pm amazing pinto, you are right on the money.
Comment by SolidSnake58 on July 26, 2012 at 12:36pm This is a weird coincidence. I decided to listen to some old LEOG episodes and today I randomly picked the infamous April Fools "B Movie" episode. I just started listening to LEOG after it aired so I'd actually never heard it before. Anyway, Brian Salisbury was the special guest back then and he recommends The Car @105:20. I'd never heard of this movie until this last episode of Remote Viewing and the random episode I picked mentions it? Cue the Twilight Zone theme.
Comment by Travis Pickle on July 26, 2012 at 3:57am Lockout! this should be interesting lol
