Comment by Y2G on May 26, 2012 at 5:19am This is definitely a full price movie and I would go see it again in theaters but as good as it is, I wonder if anyone realized there was a GIGANTIC FUCKING PLOTHOLE IN THE STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by whitewizard on May 26, 2012 at 1:12am the only thing that they really miss on is Ks relationship with another character which can be tossed by referencing the events in mib 2 where they have him get a kid in what was supposed to be 1977.
the change of K is sort of on a "really that changed you that much" which i think is a flaw in decisions of jokes where they could have played with Ks personality more. still i bought it, it was not like he was being portrayed as a character from animal house just a looser happier version.
Comment by Johnny Rico on May 25, 2012 at 11:35pm I just got back from it. I worked at the Men in Black ride while I was in college down in Orlando so I'm kind of a fan boy when it comes to this franchise.
I enjoyed the movie. It wasn't a masterpiece or anything but it was entertaining and far superior to MiB 2. I though the first Act was a little slow and a lot of the jokes were missing the mark but once Smith goes back in time the movie gets much better (which is weird considering they didn't have anything written in the 2nd or 3rd act when production began).
I thought the villain was creepy as hell...but then there were some scenes that involved laughing that went too long and just made him too comically evil instead of a bad ass.
I liked the twist at the end although I still don't really get why K "changed."
Comment by whitewizard on May 25, 2012 at 10:45pm @ mike brown i am with you man. i just got done watching it and i am listening to the review going come on guys it was not hand fed this is exactly why K doesn't do this this an this in the future but i thought K's character was aptly described with the resolution tied the movie and the original all together very nicely.
i am a little torn between full price and matinee cause i do agree the humor was off and if they had fleshed out some of Ks quirks and stoicism they could have had more fun and given brolin more to do. still i loved the movie the action was really cool, and it answers a question from the first.
FULL PRICE
Comment by Frank Johnson on May 25, 2012 at 10:18pm This was actually way better than I expected, I give it a matinee.
Comment by Michael Coello on May 25, 2012 at 9:53pm Did they have Will Smith rap in I Am Legend? How the hell would that have gone?
Comment by Alexander Orbanic on May 25, 2012 at 9:08pm Just coming back from it I thought it was alright. First is much better and 2 was blah. I was hoping for more comedy here but instead got just some quick talking and sarcasm (which is my thing.) I still give a matinee and would see it again if any of my friends want to see it at all.
Comment by G-man on May 25, 2012 at 8:47pm @Mike Brown Yeah, that's what I thought too. The revelation made at the end is what changed K.
I actually really enjoyed this movie. It was a lot better than I thought it would be.
Comment by Mentalman92 on May 25, 2012 at 8:24pm I really thought this movie was awesome
Comment by DHood90 on May 25, 2012 at 8:07pm I personally enjoyed it, but I did nod a lot at what you all find fault for it.
