Comment by Declan on April 29, 2012 at 7:03am you guys didnt know chimps ate monkeys?? thats actually how they think the AIDS virus got started. It supposedly originated in monkeys then a chimp ate that monkey and then a human got it from that chimp....listen to ricky gervais' stand up about it:

Comment by TheBoogieMan on April 27, 2012 at 7:12pm If you guys wanna see a good nature documentary, you should watch some of David Attenborough's stuff. His programmes are the best there is, and they're very informative too. His last series Frozen Planet was really great, and definitely worth checking out, although they cut out a few episodes for American audiences, 'cause they thought the ones about global warming and whatnot would be too controversial in America.

Comment by Anjelika Rex on April 27, 2012 at 10:15am We watched a Jane Goodall video in my Natural Sciences class about chimps and the majority of the class was horrified at just brutal they can be. Infanticide, war, takeovers, murder, incest, calculated hunts: it might as be "Game of Thrones" in the African forests. What I found the most fascinating were some of the older Black ladies in the class trying to instill their OWN morality on the chimps saying that their actions were "nasty" and "that should know better." I think for some people it's really hard to see so much similarities between ourselves and creatures in the wild some would consider "peaceful" and no where near being "savage." Sorry, folks, nature is a bitch.
Comment by Nikhil Sunil on April 27, 2012 at 7:04am I was expecting a rise of the planet of the apes reference.
