Comment by Salty the Beast on December 3, 2011 at 11:37pm I liked this movie very much. The bits with the two budding romances within the station felt like they should have been trimmed until I heard Scorcese say the movie was about making connections and in that context, those scenes worked. In the end -- and not to give away the ending -- I loved how one person's quest enabled those connections. I'm seeing this again with two friends who haven't seen the movie (and who wouldn't have based on the trailer). Again, great review. And believe it or not, I still can't get co-host's "fuck Walter" out of my head since seeing The Muppets tonight.
Comment by Momo Zanjani on November 28, 2011 at 3:24pm god dammit co-host you need to do something about that attention span :P
Comment by Nappystr8 on November 28, 2011 at 5:10am It's so rare that I agree fully with the crew, great job on the review! The only issue that wasn't brought up was how disconcerting it is that supposedly French characters in an American film have British accents.
Comment by DarkProphet94 on November 24, 2011 at 7:48pm id certainly go see this movie if there was aleast ONE screening at my theatre (seriously, they have every other 3D movie out, but not this one?) which makes me beg the question: how well will this do at the box office? i know with passion projects like this that money is kind of an afterthought, but something like Ed Wood could afford to bomb because it was on a small budget anyways, wheras this is a $170 million blockbuster.
Comment by Jack68 on November 24, 2011 at 1:53pm I thought the movie was okay. Very pretty.....
Comment by NotTheWhosTommy on November 24, 2011 at 8:53am I loved this movie. Some stuff in the first twenty minutes felt like obvious and bland pandering for the kids (ie the slapstick& the dogs stuff), but it's so ends up being so beautiful by the ending.

Comment by Jason M on November 23, 2011 at 11:54pm This looks great, but why did they use that song on the trailer. Talk about pre-mature dating.
