Hehe it's usually Carlyle that is sassily correcting Korey... and this time it was Cyrus correcting Carlyle. Booyah. :X

I hope we get non-dubbed versions of UP here, I really want to see it!

Kimura-Triangle relisten to Korey's explanation at the start of the audio reviews. The video reviews are the completed product as opposed to the audio where the Spill Crew basically gets together for something like a group think session about the movie. Korey then takes that audio cuts it down to like 5 minutes of what works and then creates corresponding animation. He couldn't animate the entirety of the audio partly because some of it is just rambling, but mostly because animating takes retarded amounts of work just to put out a small finished product.

If that's not really the question you had well then I'm sorry for rambling for no particular reason, heh.

Hey Korey, did you go see the full version of UP prior to doing the video review? Because I'm noticing some different audio here from what we got from the full, animated review.

Carlyle, I'm afraid Cyrus was right, you were kinda inaccurate there, it's not so much that PIXAR was in complete control of Disney, in fact one of the points of their previous agreement was that Disney had no creative input on PIXAR's films, they only handled the marketing and distribution, and they still kept that after the acquisition, in fact Disney now only handles the distribution since now the marketing is also handled by PIXAR.

Though you were right on that "Toy Story 2" was originally Disney's idea, and it was going to be a DTV sequel, until John Lasseter and everybody else stepped in, and decided to take care of the project, which at one point was still going to be a DTV sequel, but they realized the potential the film had, and yes "Toy Story 3" was also Disney's idea, it was when they were still in talks about getting another deal with PIXAR, but since they weren't all that confident it was going to end well and many thought PIXAR was going solo, they created a computer animation division that was going to direct the movie, but the division disappeared once they bought PIXAR. And "Cars" was John Lasseter's dream project, he got the inspiration from a road trip he had with his family.

they didnt want to do toy story 2. disney wanted to do toy story 2 as a straight to dvd sequel not made by pixar, and pixar decided to do it so it wouldnt be fucked up and they loved their characters
