Let us star off where we left off.
1. Death cab for Cutie: One of my favorite albums, from one of my favorite bands. This piece evokes an old school rococo type artistic style, this looks great spread out on vinyl
2.Graphic design at the it's very best. The cover that looks like it is done in some sort of…

The Best part about buying Vinyl records, is that you get to truly appreciate that art on the cover. So here are sevencovers that I love.
1.The best album from 2010, also had the best cover. Look at this thing, does it not look like something from a John Hughes movie? The grainy filter, and classic Americana car sitting in front of a house, that looks like it was built in the 70s accent the theme of the album perfectly.…

At 23 my high school life seems like it was forever ago, far away in the city of Houston Texas. Out in the suburbs of alief, where I had average grades and was unnoticed by most people. Every now and then though, a memory will come floating back to me. Sometimes I'll laugh, or cry, but none the less I get very nostalgic. I find writing these memories down works best for me, storing them somewhere that I can share them with other people.
This one comes to you from when I was a…

1.Cold War Kids- Robbers&Cowards: With global warming on the rise, there are not many places to go in the States to escape the heat. From June till late August it's like an oven. Cold War Kids album fits this kind of weather perfectly, an indie rock masterpiece that feels like it was record in a room that was hot as balls. If you are a fan of songs with lots of story, and imagery than you are in luck. As the title states you will be dealing with mainly robbers, cowards, and maybe even…

1. The members of Black Hippy: Black Hippy consist of; Ab-soul, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q, and Kendrick Lamar. Hailing from the hard streets of Compton California, these guys are like the modern NWA. These four young men prove hip-hop is not a black and white genre ( no pun intended. :) You don't have to be just a "conscious" rapper, talking about heavy world issues all the time. Or on the other side, you don't have to be just a "radio rapper" talking about only money, cars, and girls. The…

I'm a huge music enthusiast, I spend my time avidly listening to and reviewing new music. I have a vinyl collection of about 100 albums, and get new ones almost every week. I've always thought certain albums fit a particular season, so here are 10 albums in no particular order for summer. Really I have much more than 10, but for right now i'll stick with that number and post more later.
1. Mystery Jets "Radlands" These guys are an English, which you would never guess by the type…
