If it's crap ... We'll tell you
It's rare that big studio films, especially Marvel properties, let their security lax to such a degree that anyone can get video as clear, and of so crucial a scene, as this leaked set video from Alan Taylor's 'Thor: The Dark World.' In the video, Thor (…Continue

Wreck-It-Ralph (John C. Reilly), or Ralph for short, is a bad guy in a game 'Fix-It-Felix-Jr' (Felix played by Jack McBrayer). On the 30th anniversary of the game's release, Ralph got fed up with being treated horribly, so he decided to hop onto…Continue

The biggest news this week, possibly this year, is that Lucasfilm was purchased by Disney, and that a new movie in the iconic 'Star Wars' franchise is slated for 2015. Almost immediately, the geek literati took to the internet with plenty of humorous reactionary images and videos. One of my favorites is this video of Darth Vader's trip to Disneyland. It's fun and features a wonderful, more…Continue

So, I finally finished The Witcher.
I played on the hardest difficulty and it took me about a month to make it to the end, with an effective playing time of about 7 days, plus/minus 12 hours, without subtracting sleeping times. So probably a grand total of between 85 - 100 hours.
Considering everything, it's a really good game with a great story. I had a few problems with it though, but first, let's get to the positives:
The Game is based on a…Continue

I've been a fan of Beau since I first started listening to LEOG on a regular basis. I still am, even listening to the occasional Lounge Geeks podcasts he's on if the topic is something interesting. I mean, let's face it, Beau is really entertaining, and I can't show my appreciation for that properly.
I'm not a big fan on MMORPGs in general. The last one I played was…Continue

We live in an age now where comicbooks are being adapted into movies which is great because I'm a fan of comics and it's great to see these characters I love getting the big screen treatment. However I feel we're being unfair by not giving other genres a shot most notably video games. Now we've had video games adapted before such as Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Super Mario Bros and any of Uwe Boll's movies. Now these were all failures because they didn't get the right people, the people…Continue

The Amazing Spider-man the video game where do I begin? It is a movie tie in game so that must mean it is utter shit right? Actually this is a good exception, in no means am I saying this game is great or really even that good but it is a fully functioning and playable game which is more than what I can say for the other movie tie ins. Now I am not the biggest Spider-man fan so the game wasn’t nothing special to me but for those of you that are this may be a much better…Continue

Yeah this movie is a major disappointment! The first Taken was such a original action thriller that has since become a classic amongst my generation! I love that film! I would give "Taken" a 10 out of 10. When I heard they were making a second one, I will admit I had my doubts but I did not think it would be as bad…Continue

Tim Burton going back to his roots and doing some good ole' stop motion animation. Stop motion animation is my favorite type of animation for film just because the pure bravery of the film makers to make a hour and a half film with clay figures and one bad move can screw up a whole entire scene! Tim Burton got big…Continue

Just yesterday, some new, action-packed photos from the set of Alan Taylor's 'Thor: The Dark World.' Up to then, they were the best thing we'd seen from the set. But today, a behind the scenes video has hit the web that essentially brings those photos to life, complete with explosions! Check out the video below, and please…Continue
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching all the video production blogs from the set of Sam Mendes' 'Skyfall.' I must say however, I was a little nervous to watch this latest one, posted on the film's official website. It concerns the opening sequence, and my concern was that it would show too much of it; spoiling the surprises.…Continue
