Finally Read Watchmen

I have never been such a huge geek. If I was, I would have read Alan Moore's most celebrated graphic novel, Watchmen a long long time ago. As much as I'm a huge movie geek, I'm not a big comic book geek and some comic book and graphic novel series were introduced through film adaptations like Sin City and 300. Thus I heard a lot of claims and recommendation everywhere, calling a graphic novel called Watchmen, the greatest graphic novel to be ever made. With all the fuss that every nerds around… Continue

Finally, a spoof about dance movies and it shall be called: DANCE FLICK!

You knew it was coming eventually: that they would make a spoof about the plethora of dance movies that have come out the past several years. Thankfully, this new one called Dance Flick isn't written by those two fuck-tards behind Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, and all those other dumbass "movie" spoofs. It is written by the Wayans (and dear God just look at the trailer credits, I swear they have the whole damn family involved in the movie!)

The main film they spoof is… Continue

Even If You Hate STAR WARS, This Is Cool.

Let me first say: I DO NOT HATE THE STAR WARS PREQUELS.

...or at least, I didn't. Not at first.

For sure I don't like them. IMHO they're crappy action movies made with a juvenile mindset and poor sensibilities when it comes to pacing, story flow, character motivation and tension. Not to mention the way too distracting CGI, horrible dialogue, even worse acting and barely veiled racism throughout the entire trilogy.

But "hate"? Nah,… Continue

Leon reviews "Shrek The Halls" DVD

You could say it’s a hazard of the job.

I have a gag reflex that goes off whenever I read or hear that a sequel is in development for a movie I loved. The more after the fact the worse, but it doesn’t exclude new movies. Thinking about Iron Man 2, even with all of it’s promise, gives me dry heaves sometimes.…
