Right from it's thunderous opening and its majestic title sequence (Preformed wonderfully by Adele), I could tell that this was an evolved James Bond, I was in for a treat of a film that could be an easy contender for best film of the year, for me at least.…
I want to point out that I try to avoid things we have spoken about on our previous podcasts because I'm not a fan of rehashing. Seriously, just listen to our podcasts before asking what I think about this or that title. We do those for you, not ourselves.
Manga you should be checking out if you haven't yet…
Easy Money is a Chinese remake of The Thomas Crown Affair only swap the genders and put Michelle Yeoh in the lead role.
The Thomas Crown Affair was an intriguing film when it first came out in 1968. I would hardly call it a great film, but it is interesting and was certainly a fresh idea. Personally I think it was a slightly better film…

Repo Man may be one of the biggest disgraces to cinema in recent memory. Not because the movie was terrible(even though it was really bad) but rather because Hollywood has become anonymous with copying other movies to the point of obsession. Deciding that you are going to make a indy film is no small task. First, you need content. I would say script, but there are documentaries that usually claim they are just "looking of the truth". Apart from random content, you need a damn good script. Most likely, you don't. Here is my one rule of writing: Rule #1 Write and revise internally before externally.
You can't know what your vision is if you are constantly co-opting other people's points of… Continue
Okay, I've been seeing this a lot on the site lately, and it finally got to the point where I had to say something, even if it is just to get it out of my head.
To everyone who does not want this movie remade or that TV series made into a movie, I have some news for you: the studios DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK WHAT YOU THINK!! They are going to do what they always do, and that is make money, and they do that by recycling old shit and putting it on the big screen.
