Rating-(Low)Rental Say what you want about the British but they have made a lot of good movies, The Sick house is not one of those good movies. Containing an utter throwaway plot with a shit script mixed with poor dialogue, the only good thing I have to say about this flick is that it is visually gorgeous. Is a films' visuals good enough to save it if everything else is so bad:…Continue

I will look back at 2012 with fondness and no regret.
The best moments were sharing space with some influential, inspirational people and animals, and making plenty more friends. Making them happy. Dreams becoming reality – Mum got a new fireplace…Continue

Right from it's thunderous opening and its majestic title sequence (Preformed wonderfully by Adele), I could tell that this was an evolved James Bond, I was in for a treat of a film that could be an easy contender for best film of the year, for me at least.…Continue

I had a crazy dream: I was in the same room as Wizards, Hobbits, Dwarves, Olympians, artists, musicians, TV peoples, National Treasures, an Elf, Prince William...I got up and went straight to Double Negative, where the VFX supervisor behind Nolan's Batman films and Inception gave us a tour of the place.
It wasn't a dream.
I was browsing one morning when an ad for a competition appeared on one of my feeds. The prize was 2 tickets to the Royal Premiere of The…Continue

What's up, London? Korey here. We know it's early, but seriously, is it ever TOO early to prepare for a London Spill Party? I don't think so. In that case consider this a warning about the insanity that is…Continue
This week we're joined by Leon as the Cohost 3000 goes in for a tune-up. We discuss a joke gone wrong, memories of 2 A.M., the guy who shot his daughter's laptop, and…Continue

WARNING: We mention this at the beginning of the podcast but somehow a few listeners manage to miss that part. For some reason halfway through the podcast something happened to two of our mics. We have no clu why the problem occured, but a lot of the best stories are during the first half. If you continue to listen great, if not we completely understand. Either way it was a fun podcast and we hope you at least make an attempt to listen.…Continue
So although I did see some shots taken with camera phones and wot not I feel I got some of the core moments during the recent 2011 London SPILL.com Party. Now obviously shoving my camera in everyones face was not exactly fun for you people but hey I got a lot of jokes outta it and a lot of ammo I will save for another day hehe.
Unfortunately this flip camera of mine was…
My first movie-con experience, and it did not disappoint.
We got up at around 6am to prepare, and reached Stanmore ETA 9:12. Handy satnav is handy. It had been a while since I last ride the tube so it was kind of a thrill. The Jubilee line, after a lot of stops, took us straight to Greenwich.
Mum and Mick then left me to frolic and race to the Indigo2 theatre. I was a little late for the Paramount showcase - finding my seat seemed to take forever in darkness - but was…Continue

The next great alien invasion is occurring, and who is there to stop them? A bunch of South London teenagers armed with fireworks and blunt instruments. This is ATTACK THE BLOCK, the best British horror-comedy since SHAUN OF THE DEAD.
As said above, the basic premise is meteors contain aliens that…Continue
"And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when several superhero stories found themselves united in a single article. On that day, 'Superhero Stories' was born - to contain the film and TV news no single blog post could withstand! Heed the call, then - for now...
Superhero Stories Assemble!"
Attack The Block
You know I can't come to London and not record a podcast with my Brit friends, and do we have some things to report! The Spill 'get together' ended up being a full blown party as over 50 people showed up to meet their fellow UK Spillios -and it was quite the event. Well worth the 30 hour drive to make this happen.
Listen to tales of suspense as the club we told everyone to attend refused to let us in. How did the…Continue
*UPDATE* - We had a GREAT time on New Year's Eve! We met with six Spillios, four of which stuck with us until the end of the night. We went to a club where a bought the guys a bottle of Jack. We drank, danced with girls, made fools of ourselves, and made plans for the next night. We even made our plans for going to the Croatian coast this summer! Great trip so far and much love to my new friends! I sleep now feeling very happy.
