If it's crap ... We'll tell you
(Turning 16 isn’t always sweet)
After watching Warm Bodies recently, I started having hope for these teenage romance movies changing the legend of supernatural creatures we create. I won’t compare this to Twilight but…Continue

(Crazy Stupid Badge)
First of all, this is inspired by a true story. Next, this is not for the ladies even if Ryan Gosling (Jerry) is in here. You won’t see his abs this time. The main problem of the movie is its believability because it’s too clichéd, too…Continue

After watching Gangster Squad, I raced back home to write my review. Not that it’s so bad that I need to release a public warning, but because it’s so brilliant I feel compelled to tell every man and woman I can find to watch this film with the promise of enjoying one of the best guilty pleasure movies in a long while.

When someone says that there is a new crime film set in the '40s and '50s and it has people like Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Nick Nolte and plenty of other fantastic actors and actresses, you would expect it to either be Oscar caliber material or at the very least a very excellent crime drama…Continue

Rating-Full Price!! **Just a quick heads up: I'm one of those that, like Leon and Cyrus, loves Spiderman 3, and the other two Rami films. The Spiderman trilogy is one of my favorite trilogies ever. Reason I'm saying this is because I know there were people that didn't like Spiderman 3, if you're one of those stop reading right now. Otherwise, kick back and I hope you enjoy.**
The story of The Amazing Spiderman is that one day, while going through some old junk,…Continue

For once, the actual author of the story set out to make his version of the story on film the definitive one! Not only that but Chbosky manages to convince anyone that his version of the story and its characters in this film should be the only version to be made. It's one of those rare films that…Continue

When Sony had said to the world that Sam Raimi and company had given up on the Spider-Man franchise, fans would shed tears as it was announced that it was going the Batman Begins route of rebooting the entire series after only three movies and five years following the previous film. Not only…Continue
As the hype for the newest installment of Spider-Man built up, my skepticism grew along with it. As a fan of the Spider-Man comics and a cinema junkie, I was excited to hear that we were going to be given a new take on the franchise. But I was also deeply concerned that 'The Amazing Spider-Man', directed by Marc Webb, wouldn't be able to undo the damage done by the Tobey Maguire series, Tobey Maguire being to Spider-Man what Rupert Murdoch was to Firefly, he just utterly killed it.

We finally have another epic story that can take the Harry Potter formula to the next logical step. Harry Potter was a phenomenon unlike any other. It got an entire generation to read, it broke all grounds in terms of what Hollywood epics were capable of, and it…Continue
Seems like after the trailer was leaked less than 24 hours ago sony have said what the hell and decided to officially release the teaser. So for those of you who waited now enjoy the ailer in HD quality! The Amazing Spider-man is directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone,Rhys ifans and Martin Sheen and is due for release in July 2012.
Well, here it is. The phenomenon that has captured and revitalized the imagination of children, teenagers, young adults, and even some older adults around the world is finally over and for many like myself, it is the end of our childhoods in a way and the end of a truly magical decade (pardon the pun). What else should I even need to say about this film that hasn't already been said. Everyone loves this movie and for goood reason. I've seen it twice back-to-back within one day and I still…Continue

The Potter series is finally over but boy does it go out with a bang. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 picks up right where the previous instalment left off and heads straight into two action packed hours of wand waving, dragon riding and Horcrux destroying.
It’s impossible to describe just how much…Continue
The first trailer for the Emma Stone film 'The Help' has been released. Stone plays Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan, a 1960's southern society girl who returns home to a small Mississippi town to begin her career as a writer.…Continue
Well, we no longer have to just call it "the untitled Spider-Man reboot" - Sony Pictures has just unveiled their brand website for the reboot, which is now officially titled 'The Amazing Spider-Man'.

Well, as Oscar season comes ever closer to doing the big reveal when it comes to nominations, the select five nominees for this year's Orange Rising Star Award for the BAFTAs have been announced and for the most part, I'm very impressed and it's a select group of actors that's hard for me to pick over the other when it comes to who's the best or who has the most promise. Now, when it comes to this award, it's only been given out five previous times since the very thing that inspired it was…Continue
Well, the end has finally come. The conclusion we've all been waiting for whether we've been anticipating it or dreading it. The beginning of the end. Sadly, since I read the book, it cuts off just before the plot of that book really starts to pick up. But, how did I feel about the first half of this final Harry Potter tale?
The Wizarding World seems to be going to hell. Voldemort…Continue
