#04 - Two-Seasons Max Law
#04 - TWO-SEASONS MAX LAW
Is there a trend when it comes to animated series from Marvel and DC? They finally have something that connects them but it is not a crossover but in actuality the time span of some of their really well made series. Those who know what specifically I am talking about probably share the same thoughts. The first one that was hit with the, what I dub the “Two Seasons Max” law, was “The Spectacular Spider-Man”. A series that not only focused…

#03 - The Aftermath for an Armored Avenger
#03 – THE AFTERMATH FOR AN ARMORED AVENGER
2012 was one of the biggest years in cinematic history all thanks to a variety of strong films. This was the year were we finally got the third installment to Christopher Nolan’s „The Dark Knight Trilogy“ as well as a brand new James Bond film in what many consider one of the best „Skyfall“. Taking the box office numbers the biggest hit was still the mega-blockbuster „The Avengers“ to which multiple films slowly were…

By now every Film Critics Association in the country has printed their list and the Golden Globes and Oscars are poised to tell us what were the best movies, actors, etc. 2012. Yet none of these filings breaks down who was the Biggest Star of the year. Who was Hollywood’s ‘It Girl’ of 2012?
Remember back when you’d never heard of Jessica Chastain, then suddenly last…

Best of 2012 in film #10-6
Cloud Atlas, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Brave. What do these 3 films all have in common, they are on my list of the top ten best film's of 2012.
Like I said on of my worst of, 2012 has been a pretty good year in film. My opinion of course. But this time I'm talking about the good stuff.
I haven't seen The Master so I don't want hear how come it's not on here. Also their are going…

Rating-Matinee!
You know why I hate Kristen Stewart? Because she has to fuck up everything. She is not a good actress at all, and this movie is a good example of this.
The story of Snow White And The Huntsman is that a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) must hunt down dumbass Snow White (Kristen Stewart) for the evil queen (Charlize Theron). The story is decent enough, but it just feels so mundane and "Been there, done that". I mean, how many times have we seen this…

Summer Movie Season 2012
Well it’s Labor Day Weekend and the official end of the Summer movie season. And if ticket prices are any indication, this was a terrible year. We’ve had three high-profile supehero films and still ticket prices have been the lowest since ’97. I think it’s crystal clear now that ticket…

Why applying comic book continuity into superhero films is a terrible idea
(Note: originally published on my personal blog)
Continuity is a series of events tied together over a larger and ongoing narrative, plot, or theme. It lies at the heart of all geek media. Out of all the major forms of continuity out there, comic book…

Ultimate Spider-Man: A Polite Rant About Misaimed Intentions
For those geeks of you who haven't been living in a cave for a while, the new Marvel animated show, Ultimate Spider-Man, has been met with much, much dislike by the community at large. This is because it was not only heralded by the cancellation of the, well, spectacular show, The Spectacular Spider-Man (which, if…

Batman vs. Captain America fight
batman vs. captain america fan fight
This fan film has a pretty cool fight scene between batman and captain america, the fighting obviously is not up to high film standards but is very good never the less.
Apart from this the ending is very well done as they please both marvel and dc fans along the way
Hope you all enjoy :D

The Amazing Spider-Man Review
When Sony had said to the world that Sam Raimi and company had given up on the Spider-Man franchise, fans would shed tears as it was announced that it was going the Batman Begins route of rebooting the entire series after only three movies and five years following the previous film. Not only…

"The Amazing Spider-Man" Review - Was "The Amazing Spider-Man" so amazing?
As the hype for the newest installment of Spider-Man built up, my skepticism grew along with it. As a fan of the Spider-Man comics and a cinema junkie, I was excited to hear that we were going to be given a new take on the franchise. But I was also deeply concerned that 'The Amazing Spider-Man', directed by Marc Webb, wouldn't be able to undo the damage done by the Tobey Maguire series, Tobey Maguire being to Spider-Man what Rupert Murdoch was to Firefly, he just utterly killed it.

Rating-Better Than Sex!!!
Excelcior my fellow Marvelites! Marvel's The Avengers has finally arrived and I can safetly and happily say that not only does it live up to the massive hype surrounding it, but it actually surpasses it. In The Avengers: Iron Man, The Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Thor, and Captain America all have to team up (Unwillingly I might add) in order to stop Loki and the alien spieces under his servitude(The Chitari) from taking…

Straight Outta Austin: Episode Eight - Avengers Assemble!
As I’m sure you’ve probably come to expect, this episode is riddled with technical errors. Imagine that. But fear not, we’ve identified the problem and we’re closing in on it fast! Several parts of this episode may not exactly make sense, but I assure you it’s not simply because we’re out of our minds but because of necessary editing. Anywho, we geek out with our Tesseract out in an in-depth discussion of the…
