Autism Awareness Month: A Look at the Modern Autistic Film

For forty years, April has been a month not just to celebrate the Easter holidays or, in the case of this year, a Royal wedding, but to increase the awareness of Autism, a form of special needs that makes it hard for people to communicate and socialize.

As an autistic person, I thought that it would be a good opportunity to look at some of the films that do not just focus on this form of special needs, but that have also changed the way that these characters have…

UK Trailer for 'The Woman in Black' Starring Daniel Radcliffe

As a Hammer Studios nerd, and an unabashed Harry Potter fan, I am chomping at the bit to see 'The Woman in Black'. The film centers on a young lawyer (the boy wizard himself Daniel Radcliffe) who travels to a remote village to handle the sale of a deceased client’s house. Unfortunately, vengeful spirits reside in that house and are apparently Percy…

Masashi Kishimoto’s popular series about a world of ninjas and ninjutsu has become one of Shonen Jump’s biggest manga series of all time and the volumes have sold millions of copies worldwide, as well as having an anime television series, trading cards, toys, a clothing range and many other merchandise.

Two Possible Short Film Ideas!

Hello Everyone,

I have two possible ideas that I would like to make into a short film for the next Spill Dot Con Film Festival. The two ideas are basically one that I think the British Spill members might be interested in doing and the other one is for all Spill members as it can be possibly made anywhere.

Fox Creating US Version of Torchwood

Hold on to your Hub! Fox is creating an American version of the UK Sci-Fi hit, Torchwood.

According to “The Hollywood Reporter”, the show will not be a spin-off of the UK Torchwood, but a remake along the lines of The Office or Threes Company.… Continue
