If it's crap ... We'll tell you
There is almost nothing about this trailer that doesn't excite me. From the art style to the concept this game looks like one big perfect ball of great. Yet imagine my chagrin when at the end it says the game will be exclusive for Ouya. NO! I understand the creators of the Ouya wanting an exclusive for their console, but all this is doing is making me put this game out of my mind. Despite the fact that Kim Swift is attached to it, no game is worth buying a whole console just to play. Maybe…Continue
Another day, another title update for Minecraft. Title update 1.9 was supposed to be available for download today, but apparently it moved much quicker through the process than even Mojang expected and went live yesterday. The big change is adding in the ability to gather ender pearls to build an ender portal to go fight, you guessed it, the ender dragon. Along with that came a alrge batch of minor changes and bug fixes. Some of these are greatly appreiciated, especially having nether…Continue

One wonders how you can end a game that has no real objectives. Well 4J Studios is setting out to do just that. Title update 1.9 for the Xbox Live Arcade version of Minecraft has passed the certification process and plans be out this Friday April 5th, 2013. The update will allow you to build an Ender portal so you can be transported to 'The End' of the game where you will fight the dreaded Ender Dragon. Once you have destroyed the dragon I have been told that the credits for the game will…Continue

Last fall, we learned that the long-gestating 'Y: The Last Man' movie was bumped up to a priority over at New Line. The latest draft of the script, which the studio was totally jazzed about, was penned by …Continue
Remember that kickass fan-made Portal film 'Portal: No Escape'? It went up on YouTube and ended up getting nearly 7 million views. Well it seems we geeks were not the only ones who stood up and took notice of 'Portal: No Escape' and now director Dan Trachtenberg (of 'Totally Rad Show' fame) has been tapped to direct 'Crime of the Century' for Universal. 'Crime…Continue
Yes, yes... it does seem odd to try and give this game away four years after it's hugely popular release. But to those who still don't own it, here is your opportunity to get it from Steam for absolutely free. :) Offer ends September 20th, so be quick if you want it.
(Companion Cube included) :P

A few days ago, I posted a short entry sharing the fan film "Portal: No Escape." Since then, some interesting facts have been turning up about the short, which has surpassed the production quality of most fan films out on YouTube currently.

I don't know if any of you have been playing Portal 2, but I was pressured into picking it up by a few friends and I must say, I'm at a complete loss for words.
I mean, I just got out of a 3 hour co-op session and have played the single player for around five or so hours and while I've been most certainly enjoying the shit out of the game, I'm not really sure if what I got is what everyone's paying for.
At $50 ($60 on consoles, I believe) Portal 2 is considerably…Continue
