If it's crap ... We'll tell you
By now probably most people have seen Neill Blomkamp’s second feature film Elysium. Starring The always struggling Matt Damon, a very unlikeable Jodie Foster and The Hero of District 9 Sharlto Copley. The story of this movie we all know so, I won’t go through it. But, let’s write about other stuff. First of all I liked the Character arks of each and every one of them even though I didn’t like every one of the actors playing it. (One in particular…Continue

I get singled out and challenged on this one. But it was still a fun episode.

I am marking down the days on my calendar until I get to see Neill Blomkamp's 'Elysium.' I'm already a sucker for post-apocalyptic cinema, and the fact that this is the followup from the director of 'District 9' only sweetens the…Continue
The movie featured at last year's Comic-Con that generated the most excitement for me was easily 'Elysium.' Directed by Neill Blomkamp ('District 9'), 'Elysium' takes place in a distant future wherein the Earth is so ruined…Continue
The trailer for Elysium is out and I can't contain my excitement. I haven't felt like this about a movie trailer since I saw the first trailer for the first Lord of The Rings movie, back when the idea of a LOTR franchise on the silver screen was nothing but a dream to the readers.

I was already interested in Neill Blomkamp's 'Elyisum' prior to Comic-Con, because it is in fact a new Blomkamp sci-fi movie, but the footage they revealed during that panel rocketed the movie way up my list of most anticipated films of 2013. 'Elysium,' takes place in a distant future wherein the wealthy have…Continue
With all of the strikes that the film has against it from its very conception, it still manages to surprise the most cynical man of romantic films. It has Channing Tatum in it, who is clearly not the best actor working in Hollywood. The marketing campaign for this film is marketing it like a Nicholas Sparks movie when it's not actually based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks. It's "inspired or based on true events" even though the various details between the real life story and the film's…Continue

Oh man. None of you folks out there realize the surprise your in for when you check out Niell Blomkamp. When I first saw the trailer for this film, I thought "This is Peter Jackson and Niell Blomkamp's replacement for the HALO film falling apart." This is essentially what this is, but it is something that is in every sense different and stronger because of it. First off, Nobody is prepared for this film. This film completely wasn't what I was expecting… Continue
