The best never rests, well what if you put them down in the box office? I bet they will rest then.

I was a big fan of 2010's 'Red,' based on the Warren Ellis graphic novel about aging spies. The film found a nice balance of comedy and action and the performances by its leads--Bruce Willis,… Continue

When Summit examined the box office returns for its 2010 action comedy 'Red,' the fact that they would move forward with a sequel was a bit of a no-brainer. The film, which starred… Continue

This is MAK2.0 (aka HybridMedia) and this is my short review of Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Well, what'cha say......about Michael Bay? When you want explosions, action scenes, and hot women, he is the go-to guy. If you also want story and a plot, go to another… Continue

With the 4th of July weekend upon us, what better way to celebrate than to go to the movies and watch stuff get blowed up real good? There's isn't, so that's what I did. Yesterday, my wife and I took in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The Paramount film, rated PG-13, stars Shia LaBoeuf, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Tyrese Gibson, Rosie Huntington-Whitely,… Continue

So it happened. I’m going to be 18 in a couple of weeks and I still couldn’t prepare for it. I am talking about moving. I have lived in my current home with my family for six years, so it’s no wonder that you grow attached to the place, talking about real estate love. I found out about the selling four hours after, so I thought that the protest would be futile.
Shock death was fortunately avoided with humanity’s greatest vice, vanity…or maybe it was gluttony..well at least it was… Continue

This is one of the few films that is exactly what the trailer advertises, and a little more. This is a movie about several operatives that have long since retired but get back into the game. Former agents of the CIA, MI6, and even KGB need to team up to find out who is trying to kill them, and why. This movie strikes a balance between action and comedy that is almost unnatural. This movie is as thrilling as it is funny. This is no small feat.
That said, this movie is not… Continue

Changeling tells the story based on actual events about a mother's prayer for her kidnapped son to return home is answered, though it doesn't take long for her to suspect the boy who comes back is not hers. This is a heart breaking drama directed by Clint Eastwood, he manages to transmit the desperation of a mother without being corny or sensationalist. The plot is interesting, convincing and very well developed. It is perfectly set on the late 20's and the early 30's with a very good costume… Continue

The Coen brothers are back to their filming roots with this movie. Burn After Reading is a film with no pretensions, its only purpose is to entertain the viewer with some fantastic black humor, a characteristic in Coen's films, and very nice action and adventure. It has a very simple yet interesting story and a very well developed plot about A disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent ends up in the hands of two unscrupulous gym employees who attempt to benefit from the discovery, a paranoid… Continue
