I know I can download all the reviews and podcasts but I don't now if I have enough room to download all of it. Is there anybody out there who has a Spill archive but on another site so we can listen to them after the site closes? I know like a year…See More
hello there any spillios who read this post im sad to see hollywood.com shutting down spill. I first found spill.com in 2009 or 2010 not sure of the year when i was on youtube looking for movie reviews. I stumbled across and fan who made a…See More
If there's one thing you can say about trailers for Japanese video games, they all have a certain epicness to them that almost never translates to the actual gameplay. Freedom Wars is a PS Vita multiplayer game that can be played with up to seven other people. From what we can draw from the trailer it looks like you will be running around a destroyed city attempting to fight giant robotic monsters. I'm kind of getting a…
Yet another example of focusing on a competitive multiplayer mode that buyers will play for an hour then never touch again. Seriously from the deployable shields, to the mechs, and to the grappling hook there is nothing in this trailer we haven't seen before. I'm not sure if the last two entries in the Lost Planet franchise featured multiplayer, but I do know 2 had Co-Op. Which is why it confuses me to hear that Lost Planet 3 will not have Co-Op. I can't tell you how many times I replayed…
When the Avengers truly assembled for the first time in San Diego two summers ago, Robert Downey, Jr. boldly stated that this film was "the most ambitious movie [he's] ever seen", even over the phenomenon that was Christopher Nolan's Inception. It has taken four years to develop the main…
OK, now where was I? Porn, porn, porn... wait a minute. What is this? Ohhh yeah, I used to write this stuff here, didn't I? Oh crap! Was that out loud?! Uhhh... hi there! Forget you heard anything about porn! I mean... what's porn! I don't know! Shut up!
Another person whom the public probably knows nothing about, but is familiar with his work the world over, has passed.
Ralph McQuarrie was originally a painter for Boeing aircrafts before he was recruited to do conceptual paintings for STAR WARS after George Lucas had seen some pictures of his work. He commissioned Ralph to do paintings to help visualize his ideas to help sell his…
SPOLIER ALERT *CONTAINS SPOILERS** DO NOT READ UNTIL EPISODE HAS BEEN VIEWED***********
Last night's episode of Lost continues the trend towards the end of the show, as battle lines become clearer and clearer, and the show is building the tension perfectly towards the final battle, just like in the Lord of Rings: The Two Towers.
In the episode titled "Everybody Loves Hugo", which you can tell from the title is a Hurley centric episode, we continue the trend of…
Kate runs, it’s what she does, regardless of her reality. Before season 5’s Island reset button was blown to hell, Kate ran off-Island from Marshall Edward Mars because she killed Wayne Janessen, her biological father, who she felt abused her mother. Finally finding escape on the Island,
Kate still ran – any chance she got, Kate Austen wanted to run, she’s a thrill
Hello everyone, I'm the GumGumRifleman. Now while I am a major fan of Anime, I am also a huge fan of movies and TV. I have always liked to see movies ever since I was a little kid watching Jurassic Park. While I have been through two decades, one of them I was too young to really watch anything and too young to really right anything about movies yet. But I have been wanting to do this for quite a while and now I finally can. This decade brought us alot of amazing movies. Some small, some big… Continue
Todd Phillip’s The Hangover works like Christopher Nolan’s Memento if you replace Guy Pearce with three hung-over friends and replace the death of his girlfriend with the disappearance of their friend. And if you were to set in Las Vegas. With lots of sleazy humour.
The film follows three friends; schoolteacher Phil (Bradley Cooper), dentist Stu (Ed Helms) and soon-to-be-married Doug (Justin Bartha)… Continue
Wow, it has been awhile since I've been on here. Nonetheless, last weekend I went to see Land of the Lost on Friday with some friends followed by Up on Saturday with my family.
Land of the Lost is about the lowest I can perceive Will Ferrel getting. I chuckled perhaps twice during the movie, but for the most part was cringing at how they kept trying to set up jokes that turned out only to be childish punch lines about poop, pee or bug juice. Will Ferrel is the now cliche stupid man… Continue
In my humble opinion Lost is by far the greatest source entertainment ever created. The great thing about Lost is that it just keeps getting better and better. I found the first 3 seasons of Lost to be great, far superior than any other show on television. Then season 4 came out and it from great to utterly amazing. After season 3 ended… Continue

The finale was on tonight, which means that we still have one more season left before everything is resolved (hopefully!)
First I want to get this off my chest:
OH....MY.....GOSH, THAT EPISODE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I think this season has been one of the best seasons the show has ever had and this is coming from a guy who has loved almost every single season the show has made. It was unique, thought-provoking, intense and, best of all, suspenseful. While it has… Continue
Will Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, sucked into one and spat back through time. Way back. Now, Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world - a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the Land of the Lost.
Sucked alongside him for the adventure are crack-smart research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck… Continue

How many times have you seen these situations in films? If you're any kind of film fan than it's probably every second of third film that Hollywood pumps out. Most lessons are harmless enough Be yourself, Dreams do come true and such and such. However, not every lesson or piece of moral guidance really stands up to logic or even makes all that much sense. As such I've decided to post 5 of the most common Terrible Lessons Hollywood Teaches…Continue
Well, when I started this contest I thought there would be more home made versions of films - especially since some of you can't pull yourself away from being in front of webcams...but c'est la vie. Instead we got a number of very well edited endings to a number of recent (and the occasional classic) movies. And here are the best.
Die Hard 4. Tyler Durden helped kick off this contest… Continue
For the argument, we’re going to let The Cable Guy slide on this one. From that point forward in his career, Carrey hasn’t been able to be taken seriously as a talented actor, nor has he been able to transition back into the comedies that made him a superstar. His status is not to be envied; he’s a man without a country. For my money, he should have wrapped it up the… Continue
