This week on The Plot Hole, Simon, John Steven and myself will weigh in on if Snow White and the Huntsman is the fairest of them all and Steven brings us a review of Jack Black’s latest indie effort, Bernie.
Also on the docket is a discussion about the first full length trailer for…
I'm back this week for Episode 40 of the Podcast: http://playeraffinity.com/podcast.html. This week I join Steven and Simon for the following discussions:
- I get a chance to brag about getting the Les Mis casting right about Samantha Barks. - Talk about the latest trailers: The Bourne Legacy, The Amazing Spider-man, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and Iron Sky. - The possibilty that Arnold…
NOTE: I know I haven't done a movie review in a while, and I do apologize for that. However, I'm doing one now, so enjoy.
So, I broke my almost three-month sabbatical (not intentional, mind you) and went home. I went to visit family and friends as usual, but also went to support the university that I love in an issue that's incredibly important to…
New Line Cinemas has announced that director Kevin Tancharoen has signed on to create a brand new film adaptation of the hit video game series 'Mortal Kombat'. It's been a long road for Tancharoen - inspired by the original series, the 27-year old choreographer pulled together a…
Remember the guilt you had when you like some certain songs or a score from a movie that really sucked so bad?
Well, here is the other side. There can be good soundtracks associated with good movies and you will be able to enjoy them both without the guilt of how bad the quality of the movie is.
Hello internets. How are you this afternoon? Resting comfortably? Having a good day are you? Well allow me to change all that with the Season Finale episode of Mortal Kombat: Legacy... Cyrax and Sektor.
This is a sort of extended Teaser Trailer for Tron 3 that will be inclueded with the Tron Legacy Blu-Ray. It's something of a Teaser Preview, which acts as a short 10 minute film under the name "The Next Day". It gives us an idea of where the franchise is heading next. It's actually kind of inspiring (and unexpectedly funny at a point), which was something I was not expecting...
Tron Legacy is just one of those movies, one of those movies that we see maybe once or twice a year, twice in '10 thanks to Inception, that fits right in with the big bugdet Summerfests like Transformers but…
Tron: Legacy seems to be one of the more polarizing movies of the holiday season; reactions seem to vary between absolute love and "Meh".
(That's sarcasm, bee-tee-dubs)
Our own Korey, Co-Host, Cyrus and Leon all gave it a grudging rental. I'll be the first to tell you it's not the movie I was expecting, but I believe that was the problem with the movie with most audiences.
Part of the problem is that this was a case of marketing lying to the audience once again. Tron:…
In any case, here it is, the one and many (that phrase does not work....) In any case, I decided to add my own audio of the Tron Review after seeing it today. One thing I did neglect to mention on it is how amazing the soundtrack is, but I already discussed the soundtrack in depth on one of my podcasts so it would feel redundant for those who actually listen...
I was fortunate to attend a screening of 20 + minutes of TRON: LEGACY. When I arrived an hour before the screening started, I was expecting to get crappy seats and end up at the end of the line. It turned out that me and my friend were first. After a while more people showed up but not a lot. After being metal detected, there were probly only 70 people in a 500 seater IMAX theatre. I expected the theatre to be full of people just excited for this movie as I was but it was empty. Apparently… Continue
