Young-adult film series, along with other types of entertainment, run in cycles. It grasps the age group's eye and sticks to them like a parasite sucking every bit of life out of said series. Whether it be a good set of films or bad, there will always be a winner in the bloodbath of young-adult…
The closer we get to 'The Hunger Games' the more I have to admit I'm looking forward to it. Like many of you, I saw the first trailer and could not shake how much it looked like a knockoff of 'Battle Royale.' Clearly there's more to the story in the books, and probably in the film, but it was just a…
In what has to be the strangest story of the day, a secret character appearance in 'The Dark Knight Rises' may have just been spoiled by...an eight-year-old girl? Well, more accurately an article written about…
Yesterday was my birthday, and I decided to spend a lot of it resting so I could go to a midnight screening of the last film in the most successful movie franchise of all time. Today's movie is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The Warner Bros. production - rated PG-13 - stars an ensemble cast headlined by Daniel Radcliffe,…
Since the Spill Crew hasn't done one of their awesome reviews yet...I thought I would throw in my opinion on the movie =).
So Essentially the plot is (No REAL...ish, spoilers) that some crazy peacock that sounds oddly like Stewie Griffin (not to mention kind of looks like him as well) discovers how to make cannons. Yep thats right cannons, which is supposedly "The End of Kung Fu" [gasp]. So Poe with the help of the five must race to the capitol to Stop this evil plan and Save…
Going into this movie i wasnt sure exavtly what to expect would it be a big pop corn movie blockbuster? or a more serious film about the nature of humanity in extreme situations? Well it was both a near perfect blendof the two with great fight scenes and superb action set peices. and great acting from all concerned Of course Denzel Washington is excellent as always and Gary Oldman on top form like he always is. truth be told some viewers may be put off by some of the themes and seemingly… Continue

Road Warrior, Water world, and the scenes reminded me of Fallout 3 (Game). and the scenes were amazingly beautiful and i was pulling my hair out cause i was saying this is a great viewing ov things and i want people to see this film. I wont give away anything about it. but all who are in it are amazing. this film… Continue
It was at a screening at work at amc. The movie was enjoyable and a fun ride. Jim Carey played a great Scrooge and Gary Oldman was just as good as Bob Crachit. The 3d effects were great. It surpassed my expectations, for I thought they were going to make a mindless thrill ride, when they actually told dickens' story very well, with each ghost being creepy. The spirit of Christmas is put to full effect. My only complaint is that I still have a hard time deciding on whether Iike the animation or… Continue
A 3 hour and 26 min. movie that is filled with so much information that I thought I couldn't handle it. But yet it was something like no other.

I'm sure a number of people have read what MDS had to say about his opinion of the movie, and some of the users have responded in kind. I was going to, but I only got around to it recently and I want everyone to read what was said on both ends and decide for themselves.
Okay, here goes...
Okay, so... let's go for another round.
This time I've left off the two points that I conceded..
Gordon should have been looking the other way, and Freeman needed more…Continue
