Any time a new Edgar Wright film lingers on the horizon, anticipation runs very high. The guy is a mad genre genius and a true geek luminary. As his new film is Wright's reuniting with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, that anticipation is…

ATTTACK THE BLOCK REVIEW

Attack the Block Review

Well, with September just starting now, that means summer is pretty much official over. Which means that the summer movie season has officially ended as well, so to celebrate the official ending of summer, why not write a review for one of the best movies of this summer, Attack the Block? If there’s going to be another great movie to end this summer movie season with a bang, it might as well be this one.  Plus, out of all the alien invasion…

So....Before any ask me how I saw it without having connects to the movie industry, but Monkey has his ways of watching movies that don't come out. So, everyone now of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost who are funny as a comedy duo, and Seth Rogen who is equally funny comedian and a impressive voice actor. Now what will happen when these three meet, will it be funny or an disaster. So let's skip to…

Our First Look At X-Men First Class

Oh, look, another Superhero movie from Fox.  Fox doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to Superhero movies, especially when it comes to Marvel Superhero movies.  They did the underwhelming Fantastic Four, the Daredevil film, (the Theatrical version,) and of course the X-Men films.

Out of all of these Marvel films, the X-Men ones have been by far there most profitable, and overall, the most critically acclaimed.

So…

Please add "imo" to your posts. Your being subjective. NOT objective.

This was inspired by a Lets Do This (December 20 '09) and my opinions on Music.

I'll talk about Music first as i think it is more black and white than in film (and i'm more of a music guy than a movie guy).

Contrary to what the "critics" on youtube will lead you to beleive, there is no such thing as shitty music. You cannot objectively prove that a particular song or band is bad. You can prove that the lyrics are unoriginal and redundant or that the instruments are bland… Continue

Let Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein...Again

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein

By far one of the best monster movies ever made, by far one of the best Abbot and Costello films ever made, and dare I say— the GREATEST CROSSOVER FILM ever made. It is brilliant, for it’s time.

Yes, by today’s standards, the monsters aren’t scary, and the comedy is rather tame. But the pacing and chemistry hold up well. It’s a children’s movie that rarely plays down the threat… Continue

IronMan's Movie Reviews: JCVD has DOUBT that BLOT 3D is better than FROST/NIXON

Well Spillios, It is that time of the month again (no, not that you perverts!) where I display 4 short reviews to satisfy your film tastes. With the Award Season underway, I thought I'd stick my fingers into the pies of 3 Nominated films as well as one rather unique return to form. So let's get moving...
