The Hammer is a movie starring Adam Carolla. It tells the tale about a former Golden Gloves Boxer as he gets a second chance to go to the Olympics. I know what most of you are thinking, Adam Carolla was 1 half of the Man Show and this also went straight to DVD. The Hammer is not exactly for Man Show fans. It is a lighthearted comedy. Though many of you may think this went straight to DVD, this isn't what happened. The story goes that when major studios screened the movie to the public, it… Continue

The trailer that fans have been waiting months for is here. Fans of the Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons graphic novel, Watchmen will recognize most of the images below. Some of the scenes look like they we lifted directly from the pages of the comic. The trailer looks amazing and will help anyone who doubted that director Zack Snyder could bring the epic tale to the screen. I wonder what Terry Gilliam is thinking about right now?… Continue
This column is about the World’s Best Paperweight...
The Playstation 3. Back in early 2006, this oversized George Foreman grill of a machine was the wet dream of many a nerd fantasies. Two years and countless broken promises to its fanbase later, the PS3 is turning out to be more of a walking clown than a heavyweight boxer in the division of the video game consoles. Let’s get one thing straight: I’m not a ‘hater’. I want the PS3 to succeed and… Continue

My brother and I weren't exactly the best of friends growing up - by that I mean that we fought constantly and viciously. There were lots of bruises and tears and threats and screaming, not to mention sore feelings and ruined property (after all, the quickest way for a physically inferior sibling to get a satisfying revenge is by finding and destroying an item that's valuable to the opponent. My brother lost a lot of comics and Gameboy-games this way).
The Watchmen Trailer is out and posted here on Spill (thanks you crazy Spill Community members).
The Warner Bros. film is the movie adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' twelve-issue Hugo Award winning comic book series. The movie stars Patrick Wilson, Bill Crudip, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jackie Earle Haley and Carla… Continue
Unfortuneley i saw this piece of crap. It stars Emile Hirsch and Christina Ricci.I don't see why they made this movie because there was absouloutley no reason it was needed. Another Problem i had was when they introduced a character they don't even tell theyre name until 10 minutes later . Kids will like the character of Spritle Speed's little bro and his pet chimp. The only thing i liked were the graphics but that's it.This is SOME… Continue

So we all know Harvey Dent/Two Face and The Joker were brought back as villains in The Dark Knight. With a possible third movie in the works, there have been talks of bringing back several characters including Robin, Mr. Freeze and even The Riddler. This got me to thinking, “If these characters were brought back who would do a decent job playing them?” Feel free to put your two cents in as well… Continue
Christopher Nolan has brought the Joker into the twenty-first century, making him dark, gritty, and psychologically complex. But come on, this is 2008, and just like everyone else you know the modern Joker would be going online. What better way to find victims than through the magic of the internet?
