If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Let this new year be the beacon with which you go forward and carry on the good fight.
I wish you the best not only for being a fellow Spillio, but also as a…Continue
I'm sure that you can decide for yourself on what movies you'll choose next time you're online watching Netflix Instant, but every Friday, I'll give you a short list of 5 of my own recommendations.
Hey everyone. I wanted to let you all know about a new podcast that I've started with my good friend Matt Stuertz. It's called THE 72 PINS and is a weekly podcast about gaming and gaming culture.
We started out with our favorites of 2010 in a little discussion that ran a little too…Continue

Three new images from Steven Spielberg, & Peter Jackson's new CGI animated film 'The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn' have been released...
Back for more, eh? Even after that last part? Well, let's get under way...
The Last Airbender: Yeah. Not much to say. Whether a fan of the original animated series or not, everyone has shit all over this thing... and it…Continue
The Lobster Awards is an upcoming award show based entirely on me and a bunch of reviewers on Youtube hosting their own show dedicated to the year's best…Continue
Some have said that 2010 has been a bad year for movies. I debunk that statement by saying 2010 was a great year for movies. Sure there have been some examples of great films that are engaging, and are fun for the audience, and there have been examples of what not to do in a movie, but every year is like that. Every year is different, this year seemed to be the tech/thinking year. We had films that were about the new age of technology, and that made you think, l and not just dumb it…Continue
Last year, instead of doing the traditional "Top 10 of the Year" list, I talked a little bit about every movie that I saw that year in chronological release date order. Well, it's that time of the year again! Before we start, I'd like to mention that this is going by US limited or major releases, since some of these came out last year in foreign markets or…Continue
Not for the trailer itself and really just for the reactions it received. This got the funniest reactions from audiences I’ve ever heard. I couldn’t see this once in theater without a large portion of the audience groaning or laughing. I even heard one guy…Continue
With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas on the way I figured it would be a great time to have a contest.
The Contest: Take a pre-existing Christmas song or write your own Christmas carol that is about Spill.com.
The Rules: It has to be about Spill and if you're making a song of your own
instead of using the melody of a classic Christmas song then it has to
sound Christmasy. You don't have to record the song, but it will…
Recently, Netflix has come into my life and I must say, it's pretty awesome. It's helped me through many a boring night at college when it just seems to be a dull weekend. It's also great because it gave me the chance to watch Jim Henson's fantasy epic The Dark Crystal again.
A favorite movie of my childhood, it truly shows Jim Henson's ability as a storyteller when he puts…
So, 2010 is almost at an end. Christmas is just around the corner and I'm sure we've all played the best games of the year (Red Dead Redemption, God of War 3, the list goes on), but what do we have to look forward to next year? Well, I'm here to compile a list of what's coming and what we know so far. Oh, and I'm keeping off some of the ones that nobody knows anything about, like, say, Mass Effect 3.
1.) Batman: Arkham City…Continue
ok it's that time of year again where we all say what have been some of the best and worst of 2010. I figured I would write the best of now and get around to doing the worst of next week. Just to mention before people say why are films like black swan or 127hours or blah blah blah not on it. Its because Australia is backwards and we don't get some films till way later then you so im not going to put movies i havn't seen on the list cause that would just be stupid.
"Tron: Legacy" is number one at the box office, not a surprise, and it's take in is considered to some to be a disappointment, but to be fair it's not even in it's first week of release, but considering the money it did bring in, and the critical response from mostly critics, but also general moviegoers, "Tron: Legacy" isn't what they wanted, and expected.
Yahoo.com has said:
"Tron: Legacy," a costly 3D sci-fi…Continue
Nicolas Cage just keeps distancing himself further and further from his Oscar win for “Leaving Las Vegas” back in 1995. He kicks off another disappointing year of quirky movie selection with “Season of the Witch,” originally slated for release about 9 months ago. This supernatural thriller where he plays a 1300s Crusader and gets involved in some sort of black magic. Needless to say, go see “Little…Continue
Summary: If you are like me, one of the greatest days of your life was the day you discovered "The Winnebago Man", a compilation of outtakes from a promotional video gone horribly awry. The reason for the brilliance of the video is a man named Jack Rebney, a man who forgot his lines, mercilessly harassed the crew, and commented on the idiotic nature of his own dialogue. After recovering from the epidemic of laughter that swept through…Continue
