Looks like Bloody-Disgusting.com picked up a scoop that just might end up starting some internet buzz to the delight of many Anne Rice lovers out there. Ya, I'm talking to you Cyrus. Here it is.
I received what could be one of the best (unconfirmed) scoops ever from a B-D reader who'd like to be called 'King of Kong', "I work at --- and have it on good authority that United Artists is in talks to nab the rights to Anne Rice's … Continue

I'm still unclear why the tag line and the title decided to go the way it did. Openly declaring "How Often do you Find the Right Person: Once" didn't seem to me to be at all what this movie was about. A more appropriate title might have been Indie Rock: The Musical,… Continue

Looks like ShockTillYouDrop.com has their own "Deep Throat" insider on the Platinum Dunes Friday the 13th reboot directed by Marcus Nispel. Here's what the insider had to say about what audiences should expect out of Jason's newest adventures.
Platinum Dunes' Friday the 13th project. What do you label it? Remake? Re-launch? Continue

Looks like Seth Rogan will be taking on the task of pissing off a few fanboys who still care to remember The Green Hornet. I figure this project was long dead after Kevin Smith dropped the ball on it. Seth talked to MTV about his take on the project. Here's a taste.
Heavyweight actors like George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg and Jake Gyllenhaal all flirted with the project, so when it was the literally heavyweight star of "Knocked Up"… Continue

Jack Black’s been busy working on new Ben Stiller movie,Tropic Thunder and, according to Black, the hair was
part of Stiller’s vision.
“It's his choice,” said Black. “To be fair
though it's usually much blonder. The roots are growing out because I'm
done with the hair. Well, I still have a couple more days of filming,
but I'll be wearing wigs the rest of the way out.”…

Jake Gyllenhaal is set to play Hall of Famer "Broadway Joe" Namath in a
biopic about the former New York Jets quarterback. The movie will tell Namath's
story as the promising young kid from Beaver Falls, PA who
rose to rock star status in the 1960's as the bad boy of football. One of Namath's most memorable moments was when he
guaranteed an upset victory in 1969's Super Bowl III, when the underrated Jets
played the heavily-favored Baltimore… Continue

So was there anyone who didn't know yet that the new Indiana Jones film has aliens in it?
Well, now that the grey is out of the bag, check this out.
One of the things that Spielberg has gone on record as saying is that most of the special effects in the film are practical. Now that appears to be true. The aliens in the film are puppets. There are three of Continue
them, seated on thrones in the…

Natalie Portman wants us to know that she's done being in Star Wars. Really? Oh 'cause we were all hoping and praying there would be another big digital boring mess with you dressed up like you're in a all-drag queen stage production of Barbarella.
“I’m so honored to have been a part of [the ‘Star Wars’ prequels. I got to basically latch on to this thing, that was a huge success before I was ever involved.” Continue

So I stumble across a story with the headline Cage, Buscemi and Morgan enlist in G-FORCE. As soon as I read that I thought, WHAT THE HELL. Then I read the rest of the arcticle and it turns tragic. Here it is.
Nicolas Cage, Steve Buscemi and Tracy Morgan will provide three of the lead voices in "G-Force" for Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films.
Bill Nighy and Will Arnett have joined the ranks of the on-screen actors in the… Continue

Since I don't make enough to have any money to spend on this day of all spending days, I've spent the day surfing the web. Lucky you, I found a barrage of new Batman movie viral sites for ya to check out. I'd rather have my own copy of Rock Band, BUT I guess if I had it, you guys would get some pretty truncated posts from me for a couple months...I'm Cyrus,… Continue

Now that the 'official version' of the Cloverfield trailer is out, speculation begins again, all sweaty palmed and anxious. The closest look I've found of the actual monster is here, and so far...well...you still can't really tell a damn thing about it. This could be the film adaptation of Rampage! for all we know.
There's another mystery about the… Continue

The Final Destination series has been a real conundrum for me. The first film is not half bad but I wouldn't call it a classic. It had a great premise, some cool deaths, and even managed to be scary at points. It peaked my interest enough so that when they announced a sequel, I was interested.
The second one ironed out a lot of the problems by making Death a lot less anthropomorphized (look it up) and more of it being just the universe's faceless anti-virus… Continue

I'll hand it to the adherents of 3-D technology, they really wowed me with Beowulf. That being said, 3-D isn't a wave of the future, it's a gimmick. It's nice to do it every once in awhile but a little goes a long way. This is the polar express opposite of what many of Hollywood's power players are thinking. James Cameron is all agog about the tech and Jeffrey… Continue

On Nov. 18th, Sunday morning, Jonathan Rhys Meyers
(The Tudors, Velvet Goldmine) was stopped from boarding a flight at the Dublin, Ireland,
airport when police
confronted him twice over his abusive behavior at the desk of the British airline BMI. Dublin Airport Police called Ireland's national police force, the Garda Siochana, after Rhys
Meyers refused several requests to calm down and was finally arrested. He's facing charges of public drunkenness… Continue

First, the good news. Bruce Willis is returning to sci-fi with the lead role in The Surrogates. The story takes place in the 'near future' where nobody ever goes out because we have "surrogate" robots that interact for us in the real world that look just like us only better looking. Willis plays a cop who is investigating the murders (or I would think just the 'destruction of' since they are no more than avatars) of several surrogates. Over the case of… Continue

Hey, I'll be the first to tell ya that the only thing I know that's been worth a crap from Eli Roth is his THANKSGIVING trailer. That trailer is genius! As far as his other films... well... their crap. Sorry. I, being a robot with no money, was one of the many who stole his last movie Hostile 2 from the intranet and let me tell you, I wanted to UN steal it. Hell, I threw a nasty virus on the… Continue

Man, that last story I did about the new Terminator movie almost fried my circuits. That's until I came across this!
No one says it better than Borat, "WOW O WE WA" Hey, that's the chick from the that other sci-fi show about space cowboys that got cancelled right? It's about time she did some robot porn. My FAVORITE. If I was a Terminator... the things I'd do to her...let me tell ya.

Damn YOU, Damn YOU ALL TO HELL! You finally did it!. Who in the hell said McG can work again?
I'm sorry to report that McG will be directing the new Terminator film entitled “Terminator Salvation : The Future Begins“. The guys over at Moviehole.net said it's a done deal and will be happening. Damnit! I'd rather have Ali G direct this instead of that one note MTV dildo head. Great! Now I'll… Continue
