The Walking Dead Premiere Review!

As I write this, ten minutes have passed since the first episode of "The Walking Dead" ended. Ten minutes have passed since I said, "This was not a good show...it's a freaking great show". So congratulations AMC, you have delivered another series for me to get hooked on. Damn you.

First things first, let's talk about the cast. The acting talent is head and shoulders above the average on television and even many movies. Andrew Lincoln is a relatively unknown actor, but this…

Doctor Who Big Finish reviews: Deimos

Um... I'm not sure what to say. It's not that there's a problem with Deimos - there's not, it's good. It's just that it's the first part of a two parter, and it really doesn't feel like it's over yet. It'd almost be disingenuous to say anything.

story: The plot concerns a museum exhibiting the remains of an Ice Warrior settlement on the Martian moon Deimos, and the band of Ice Warriors awakened from its hidden vaults,…

Doctor Who Big Finish Adventures review: Invasion of E-Space

story: the plot is that the 4th Doctor and Romana 2 is looking for a Charged Vacuum Emboitment to escaoe from E-Space and they find one with an invasion force.

what I thought: The plor has an epic feel with the first inter-space invasion. Lalla Ward works well with this. She capturd Tom's mannerisms so perfectly and brings him into it nicely. Susanne Brown's charector is dry for this story though. The acting is fine though. It's not a bad story. The music and special…

Saw I Review

I rented the 1st Saw around the time the 2nd Saw film was being released on DVD. It was an awesome movie that spawned 4 awesome sequels and one horrible one. I thought the traps in the 1st movie were the most creative traps I ever saw in my life back when I first watched it. The characters were interesting, the place they were left in was interesting, and the stuff that both of the main…

Saw 2D- The Final Chapter Review (Yes, that was literally the listing for the movie at the AMC I saw it)

After 5 very successful films and a disappointing return from the 6th film, we now have Saw 3D ( or as the 2D screening was listed as Saw 2D: The Final Chapter) which is supposedly the final entry of the franchise. Let me start by saying that I love the original 3 and consider them modern horror classics and thought they carried a great horror story arc. I really hated Saw IV, did not like it at all, so I was skeptical for V and decided that if this was a D or below, I would no longer see the… Continue

A Couple of Cold Ones - October 25, 2010

Well look what I found! Some issues with Skype and a lot of recordings led me to believe this show was lost. Looks like it was simply hiding from me. I'd like to tell you what we talked about but I honestly don't remember. Guess you'll just have to… Continue

My first TV review

Warning: As my first review, I may make some mistakes and might have not added everything that I wanted to add in this review. Also, if you have a different idea of what this show is about, or if you are not satisfied by this review do one of the three things; 1. Make your own review of the show 2. Discuss it, not troll it, to say why it is what you think it is or 3. Just accept that this is how I see this show. With that said, let’s get on with this…

Saw 3D review

What the heck is this title supposed to be like seriously I've heard Saw 3D, Saw VII, Saw: The Final Chapter, Saw: The Traps Come Alive! I mean make up your mind already. Anyways. Pretty much everyone on Spill is just ripping this movie apart and I really can't understand why. Oh wait yeah I can.

Story: Saw VII really doesn't have a story per say. The saw franchise itself has basically one story and it just adds to it everytime. Just go…

Transformers: War for Cypertron Review

It's been a while since i wrote this. I wrote it straight out of high school and to be honest, its not my best. But there's no reason to hide it. I thought it was good and I know that writing isn't my strong suit. Oh the poorly written memories. I tried.

I don't know about you guys but the Transformers Movies really suck. I was born a little late to watch the cartoon but I still got the gist of what Transformers should be. Honestly, why in the world were…

'Saw 3D' Review

The Saw series has been a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine for a few years. I love the storylines, the twisted characters and, of course, the gory traps- I'm even going as Billy for Halloween this year. The sixth film was one of my favorites, so I was really excited to see where the series would go from there. The announcement that Cary Elwes was finally coming back as Dr. Gordon got me even more pumped. So I really went into this… Continue
