In the spirit of Halloween (my favorite holiday), I have decided to have a month long celebration. Each day of October I will upload one of my favorite horror movie scenes. This is not a countdown; my choices are in no particular order. This is not an ass Continue
kissing fest for horror movies that have had their asses kissed plenty. No Exorcist
or Jaws scenes. They have been in enough lists.
These are just scenes from movies you probably…

When you were in high school did you ever know those girls who had decided on their one thing that they absolutely loved and identified with and wanted to make sure everybody knew it? They usually had multiple trapper-keeper notebooks covered with puffy stickers and hearts. If it was a famous dude, they had their name with his last name written over and over again. For some it's Hello Kitty
, Orlando Bloom
, or unicorns but by… Continue

Drew Barry more has always had a wild-child
image and this was only bolstered by her flashing David Letterman
during an appearance on The Late Show as a "birthday present", and
posing nude for Playboy in 1995.
In 1980 she was already a worldwide starfor her role as Gertie in E.T. The
Extra-Terrestrial. By the end of 1982 she was known all around the
world as the archetypal "cute… Continue

gossip columnist, to gush with schoolgirl excitement about her new boyfriend. It's millionaire businessman Jason Winters, who - at 47 - is 28 years her junior.
"Jason Winters is one of the most wonderful men I've ever known and that's why I love him," she trilled. "He bought us a beautiful house in
Hawaii and we visit it as often as possible."
She has… Continue

Yeah,I know. It's a little late to be reviewing this, but what the hey.I was expecting this to be just as funny as Bruce Almighty to be honest. The jokes weren't really clever though.Especially when it came to Wanda Sykes. Now,I have a lot to say about her.I.....don't think she's funny at all.Throughout the whole freakin movie,Wanda took almost every possible moment to make everything a joke.Wether it would be a… Continue

One of my friends criticized this film (without having seen it) because everything has already been said about the sixties. The more I consider this reasoning, the more absurd it becomes. Take any one topic about any decade, and show it from a single point of view. Even if, by a long shot, you manage to express it to a fraction of its detail (without losing your audience), you'd still have millions of of other points of reference to any one significant event. This criticism would also be… Continue

To be honest, when I first saw the ad on the side of the bus,I was thinking that this one took place back in the Bible days or something. On closer inspection,it was in Las Vegas.Well,anyway......
In case you didn't know, when it comes to movies based on games or popular franchises,I'm very very hard to impress.I thought the movie was okay.I didn't hate it like I hated the first… Continue

Did anybody see Guillermo del Toro's The Devil's Backbone? Well, if you haven't you're really missing out. Part one of his Spanish Civil War trilogy (Pan's Labyrinth is part two) it's an effectively chilling and rewarding ghost story set against a bleak historical backdrop. Just knowing that this new spook fest from debut feature director Juan Antonio… Continue

If Daniel Day Lewis decided tomorrow that all he was going to do was advertisements for cherry flavored butt lube, before any of us knew what was happening, we'd be up to our bulging forehead veins in the stuff. He's such an incredible force of nature that the best thing you can do is to leave a good script outside of his cave at night, set up the cameras and just let the man work by himself. Before you even have time… Continue
