As a few of you know, a while back, I made a group called "The Official Spill Fan Art Group", after listening to LDT!!!, and hearing them say that they needed a place to put the fan art.
Well, it's been a mess. I was just posting any fan art that was placed in the group into the text box, and it was a pain to go through it all.
So, I finally decided to give it a long overdue update, by going through and categorizing the art by who's in it. Click the links below to be taken… Continue
Earlier this summer, it was revealed that Sony Pictures Animation's big screen Smurfs feature would be coming to theaters in 3D, and now here's a first look at a CGI smurf!
Hitting theaters on December 17, 2010, the film will be directed by Raja Gosnell. "The Smurfs" were created in 1958 by Belgian cartoonist Pierre Culliford, known throughout the world as Peyo.…
hello there
I've been thinking lately about a few upcoming sequels and it got me thinking of past sequels. I'd like to express my thoughts on the entire concept of a sequel. Welcome to;
THE PROS AND CONS OF A SEQUEL (part 1)
First off I'm going to list a few sequels I consider great:
Aliens
Terminator 2
Kill Bill Vol. 2 (if you want to count it)
Clerks II
Crank 2: High… Continue

First off, let's have a large round of applause for the knucklehead at Dimension Films, who, two days before release, decided to release a production still, that spoils this entire movie. Another round for all the movie news sites… Continue
This is more of a rant than it is a review. And this is coming from an admitted homosexual, albeit I have one foot in and the other foot out of the closet.
But after watching Taking Woodstock and enjoying the film for its strong character-driven story, I can’t help but ask one question: Why did the main character have to be gay?
The film doesn’t focus on that aspect so much as it does the chaos and self-discovery that results from Woodstock being there. Hell,… Continue
The comedy troupe Derrick Comedy came to the Alamo Ritz on 6th St(which some of you remember from the party) on Thursday to present their new film. They have a following because of some offbeat comedy skits and they presented a short of the Mystery Team that was shown at San Diago Comic Con...
Then came a full length feature of the Mystery… Continue
The horror genre seems to be really dull these days. It was tough to decide which movie I was going to see tonight: Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN sequel or the latest installment in the FINAL DESTINATION series. I watched both of the trailers and HALLOWEEN 2 seemed like it would be really boring. FINAL DESTINATION didn't look impressive either but I was sold on the 3-D and was ready to watch over-the-top death scenes in Digital 3-D at a sold out theater with a crowd that just wanted to have a good… Continue
I've been getting pretty damn sick of Batman. From the rabid fanboys slobbering over any information over the sequel to The Dark Knight to Batman's WTH departure from the comic world (for a while at least), I haven't exactly been deprived of seeing the caped crusader in my life. When I heard that a new video game would star the Dark Knight, I wasn't exactly thrilled since his past endeavors in video games have usually been the equivalent of… Continue
The trailer has been released for Avatar a film by James Camoron. The trailer has left a stir around many people saying that the 2008 flop Delog is very similar to Avatar. In a landscape of sequels and remakes, one of the most expensive films in history, Avatar is being compared to a low-budget independent,CG-animated film Delgo, produced by Fathom Studios. A spokesperson for the studio said, "From what we have seen, we are amazed by the visual…Continue
Initially I thought I wouldn't watch that many films for this year's Summer Movie Line-Up but obviously I broke that stance. I think I watched more than the ten movies listed here but one I definitely know isn't going to show up on this list is Terminator Salvation (which disappointed me a lot). This list is just my opinion so ye... Let's Do This!
The premise sounds like any other sci-fi movie, but District 9 puts a twist on its story and makes it unpredictable. I was so enthralled by the documentary style, the violence, the characters (emotionally invested to as well), and the best special effects I've seen in a long time that even these plot holes didn't matter since the movie moves at a great pace.
Several hours after I watched the film, I kept contemplating on the things… Continue
Quentin Tarantino is back, and boy did he come in swinging.
Inglorious Basterds (with E) is his latest movie, which stars Brad Pitt as the leader of small Jewish American (and couple German defectees) platoon known to nazis as 'Basterds'. These 'basterds' use scare tactics such as scalping dead nazi soldier's head, carving swastika on surviving nazi soldiers, or simply beat the living sh*t out of them. The movie then moves on to Hitler… Continue
First off i'd like to say i'm not the type of person who has the time to see movies every weekend. During summer I tend to go a lot more often because I do not have any school or as much activities. I normally catch the one's I missed in the theatre the first week or two when they come out on DVD. I love movies and ever since I was born movies was always my love. These are 10 movies I enjoyed watching and this is my opinion. Big movies of '09 that I haven't seen include Funny People, (500) Days… Continue
All of us Death Note fans wondered who would play the main characters Light and L will now be pleased with the casting of L, but they will be semi disappointed at who they picked to play Light Yagami. THIS GUY!
Doesn't really look like Light to me and he seems to scruffy but whatever.
I'll take Taylor Kitsch over Zac Efron any day.
The fans of L might be more pleased with the… Continue
The write kind of spider: Sherlock Holmes is the Pitts? The Whiplash effect: Prequel/ Squeal of the fucking week: Posted: Titbits/trailers & off topic

Quentin Tarantino's war epic and the big finale to summer 2009. Being a big Quentin fan (I've either really liked or loved all his films except Death Proof, which felt mediocre), I was excited to see this. What did I think? Well let me tell you ... right after this plot synposis.
Overall I very much enjoyed the summer of 09. The major blockbusters tended to disappoint, but it wasn't as soul crushing as 2007 (spiderman 3, pirates 3, shrek 3 all sucked). So here goes my top 10 of the summer.
10. Bruno
Bruno was a tad disappointing, but that didn't stop it from making the list (just barely). It was pretty hilarious, but in no way as good a Borat. I would've liked more interviews, and less "story" elements… Continue
As another hot Summer movie season comes to an end, it's time for my annual list of the 10 best movies of the summer.
This year, we saw the return of giant robots tearing up shit, a real american hero, an alien civilization being held hostage by humans, the revival of a number of famous franchises, and so much more.
Now before I start this, let me tell you that I haven't seen District 9, 500 Days Of Summer, Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince, and Inglorious Basterds… Continue
At long last, Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds is finally hitting the silver screen. For years, I have been a huge fan of the writer/director/movie geek. Not just because he writes and directs movies that are so incredibly cool that define "badass", but the guy is someone I can relate to with his extreme enthusiasm for movies.… Continue
