Mr. B Reviews - Toy Story 3

I had been a bit nervous about Toy Story 3 ever since it was first announced. The original is one of my favorite animated films. When Toy Story 2 was released, I happily awaited heading to the theater. I loved it as a kid, but after a recent re-watch, I found it to be a step backwards. The jokes were a bit lame, and some of the new characters were a bit annoying. Jessie, in particular, managed to give me a slight headache… Continue

This was an awesome Batman film. Everything in this was perfect. The main theme of the movie, the gadgets Batman had,the Batcave,Jack Nicholson as The Joker, and Tim Burton being the director. My parents bought me the VHS tape of…

COUCH POTATOES ANONYMOUS–It's Pilot Season

Ahh, Pilot Season, Christmastime for us Couch Potatoes. When all of our new television obsessions will be born, or arrive dead on arrival. Nowadays, with networks having TV seasons all year long, Pilot Season comes pretty much at any time. With the major fall/spring seasons over with, what should we watch as we hibernate in our air–conditioned homes, staying as far away from the sun as Sean Patrick Flannery's Powder (sorry, no “Twilight” references here, dammit I just made one)?…

Doctor Who and all of it's wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff.

Allow me to go back to the beginning of time. Or rather, to the year 2009 - when I started my career as a faithful companion to our brilliant time-traveller: The Doctor.

I have to start off by saying that I was extremely hesitant to begin watching this series. First of all, it was abnormally trendy and popular amongst my peers, which sort of turns me off more than it pulls me in. Secondly, and let's be honest, the premise of the show is more than just a little bit…

Grass: Puff Puff Pass

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a0/GrassOfficialPoster.jpg

As a current occupant of the college mindset, I am more than familiar with the stoner culture that permeates such a setting behind closed doors, and many of the more adamant practitioners of such in my

area are included in the numbers of my closest friends. Because of

these facts, I found myself sitting down and watching this documentary,

which is usually not my type of film. Don’t get me wrong, documentaries

are very…

Blogomania 2 - The Road to "Money in the Bank" Begins

The wrestling business is a very fast–paced business. Whether it’s shoddy or failed ideas from creative or a new Pay–Per–View is coming up, things tend to move quick. With the first ever “Fatal 4–Way” PPV behind us, the WWE Universe now looks ahead to, “Money In the Bank,” taking place on July 18th. With less than a month to build up to the event, the WWE has to act fast to hype up the event. Unfortunately with only a few brief mentions of the event on “Smackdown,” it doesn’t… Continue

My E3 Video Extravaganza

I got back from E3 a week ago today and have been working my ass off to edit the footage I got into different pieces of youtube gold... (that was sarcasm).

Sadly the first day's footage was totally corrupted and I can't possibly post all 3 hours of the Activision party (for which I was a mere foot away from the stage). So instead I've got these three videos for the moment.…

My thoughts and opinions of Toy Story 3.

Before reading guys, keep in mind that this blog is a bit long and if you don't have time to read through all of it, just skip to the section at the bottom. Alright, I saw Pixar's latest establishment, Toy Story 3 the night of the premiere and I was very impressed. Here's what I think after seeing the movie, including the short "Day and Night".

First off, "Day and Night" is not my favorite Pixar short. My favorite short was the one about the old guy playing chess in A Bug's…

My review of Key's new anime, Angel Beats.

Angel Beats is yet again another cross media collaboration between Key animation studios, and visual novel writer Jun Maeda. Together have worked on such projects like Air, Kanon, Clannad, and now Angel Beats.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The plot centers around Otonashi, a young man who wakes up in the middle of a school yard, with no recollection on how he got there or any memories of his past. He is then confronted by a girl…
