Dexter Asks: Hey Carlyle, I'm starting to see a lots trailers for the new R rated flick "m Night Shamalan presents a film by m Night Shamalan.... The Happening" I think they would do better to keep his name off the trailer. Any way at first I thought this movie was about the religious notion of the Rapture and that could be a cool movie plot. However I just saw the actual plot on imdb and man it sounds stupid and potentially environmentally preachy. I dont want to spoil it so look on… Continue

Ok i gotta get it out, FUCK modern action movies and the special effects and dumb fucking fake B.S. like Hitman and Wanted. Im tired of bullets curving and crazy Matrix like fighting moves. I can it some but not too much. I love Indiana Jones, I mean what rational person doesnt. The new Indiana Jones movie gives hope for more of the use of stunt men by doing more live stunts and classic action rather then CGI. I love the classic indiana jones like action. And btw if u didnt like the first three… Continue

Since this is a film review website, I'll start with that. I gave Indiana Jones a 7/10. It was adventurous and quite frankly, typical Indiana Jones-ish. I was impressed that Harrison Ford pretty much looked the same, barring the gray hair. The action was satisfying, but no more dramatic the the Indiana Jones flims that came before it. It really did remind me, excuse me, I mean, National Treasure truly did rip off Indiana Jones. Anyway...I am still yet to see The Forbidden Kingdom (I'm REALLY… Continue

The other day I saw this movie that had Chazz Palminteri, Shia Labeouf, robert downey jr., and rosario dawson.
The movie is a true story about Dito Montiel growing up in New York with his friends, girl, and family.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film but was extremely put off by the use of language throughout the film. It was gratuitous to the point where it became a self-parody.
I am all for profanity in movies but not profanity that is… Continue
