For some reason, I've been a magnet for new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles news. Back when I was working for another site, I was contacted by a person who will remain anonymous. Said person was ready to leak what they claimed to be… Continue

As we all know by now, Prince of Persia is going to be out in May 19th. And while some people may not feel the same as me, but i feel that this could be the launch of great video game to GREAT movies. The reason why is because over the last decade and a half, there have been numerous attempts to do this but all of them have been a dissapointment for the fans of the video game. Here are some examples:
Final Fantasy the Spirits Within… Continue

During Oscar season, most of the buzz was around Avatar and The Hurt Locker. The extended "Best Picture" category gave much needed spotlight to other movies, such as my favorite movie of 2009: District 9. Unfortunately, it also wasted a spot on The Blind Side; a mediocre "true story" (and by true, I mean "75% bullshit") that belonged on… Continue

Oh man I love Pixar. Seriously, can they do no wrong? Ten movies, countless shorts, all of them of high quality. So why the title? Well I just heard about the announcement of the sequel to Monsters Inc, cleverly titled: Monsters Inc. 2.
Rumours of this movie have been on and off for the past year, and now it has been confirmed and given a release date:
NOVEMBER 16TH, 2012
Woah, woah, woah. Hold on there Pixar. I thought you already… Continue

I can't claim to be an aficionado of the comic-book Kick-Ass, written by Mark Millar
and John Romita (and in case you don't remember, don't worry, their names pop up as characters read the comic-book on screen, good tie in, I mean, in-joke), and I can't even speak entirely for what the man's talents… Continue

The Black Waters of Echo's Pond ** out of **** Spill Rating: High Rental!
I was going through the list of shows at my theater yesterday looking for something to see. There was all the mainstream shows (Bounty Hunter, Clash of the Titans) and some indie releases (Greenburg, and Crazy Heart). However, there was one… Continue

No, this isn't an adaptation of the Walt Whitman novel for those expecting that when you walk into this film. No, this is a different beast entirely. Now from the trailers I am sure that you think that you ahve this pegged already, that this is yet another stoner comedy that for some odd reason has Edward Norton and Richard Dreyfuss in it for some odd reason. And while you would be right to insist that the film does indeed have comedic elements to it as… Continue

A legitimate discussion on this matter has been a long time coming, and I think we can all agree on that. If you don't agree, it might be best if you stopped reading this post right now before I tell you how much of a fucking coward you are. The issue of racial representation in film and television has been lingering about for the better half of a century now, and all things considered casting in media has improved for people of color. However, these improvements are only incremental when one… Continue

I recently watched "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" and didn't like it. This surprised me, considering that everyone was praising the film for its intentional badness and its status as the next big "so bad, it's good" movie. To me, the movie only had a few glorious moments of hilarious failings and those were few and far between. I racked my brain trying to realize why… Continue

Nope, this isn't a new and controversial episode that Disney has been power marketing. It's an actual law suit.
According to The Hollywood Reporter
, series creators Barry O'Brian and Richard Correll are suing Disney for profit royalties that they claim the mouse owes them. Their foundation for the suit is based on WGA compensation for their "created by" credits as well… Continue

First and foremost I love Superheroes. To get this out of the way Iron Man, nor Batman are SUPERHEROES! I'm so sick of people saying that; they're both just Heroes lol. With that said Iron Man is the second best Comic Book movie of all time. Now some people will say what about X-Men 2, or Spider-Man or Blade? Spider-Man has some points in it where it's too campy that completely took me out of it; X-Men 2 is really good, but will forever be tainted by the fact that fuckin Anna Paquin who was… Continue
