It's that time of year again, when the Spill Crew provides their own brand of 'coverage' for the Academy Award show. Listen as we commentary on who asked the dumbest questions, who has the best cleavage, who acted like they had class, who didn't, who got booted off stage for taking too long, terrible dance numbers, and who almost fell on their ass on the way to the stage. Join us in celebration when our favorite picks win, and yell in anger with us when our…Continue
Is anyone interested in getting together and shooting a short film for the festival? My strengths lie in prop work, script writing, and some minor blocking.
If you are interested please post here and lets get this thing on the roll.

WeekEnders lite with Bdiddy, Guy Behind the Guy87 and you’re host Benjamin D
In this episode we talk Oscar.
Who will win, who will lose and who we’d like to see win, a few time I thought we may kill one another over the films we loved and didn't like, but as you can tell we all made it out all right.…

Why hello all you Spillios out there! JamesB here. I'm kind of new to this whole 'writing blogs' thing, but I thought I would give it a try.
As many of you know, tomorrow night is the OSCARS. It is a celebration in which pretty celebrities come to give each other awards, compare clothing, have a host tell some funny jokes amongst plenty of lame ones, and occasionally reward filmmakers/ actors for their talent.…

So, Sunday is the big day. Sunday is the day where Hollywood’s royalty get together and celebrate the best of the best. Yep…Sunday is Oscar Sunday. As a movie lover, I’ve always loved watching the Oscars, if only to nitpick the winners and shout at the Academy’s insistence to reward movies that are strange at best – for example, awarding an Oscar for Best Visual Effects to The Golden Compass over Transformers. Yeah; I’m still bitter. Anyway, this isn’t about the 80th Academy…Continue

These are my most anticipated video games of the year 2011, and this is going to be in list format cause who doesn't love lists, and with this blog you'll know what kind of gamer I am.
This isn't going to be a huge post like my others. I just wanted to mirror Alexander Fedderly's Top 10, a well-written but delusional (I kid.) list you can read in the link at the bottom. I haven't seen all, or really any, of the main Oscar contenders so my list is subject to change. But since this is more about getting people to see movies, it might be better that my list isn't filled with obvious choices. Either way, here it is:
15. Kick-Ass - I…Continue
Does hearing the word "dicktits" excite you? What about kicking someone repeatedly into a wall until they burst like a meat balloon? It excited me. When I first played the demo for Bulletstorm my inner fifth grade child had a veritable epileptic fit of excitement...it was exhilarating. I of course had no choice but to preorder the game.
I've been a big fan of Cliffy B and the folks at Epic Games ever since Gears of War came out during my sophomore year of high…Continue

I highly doubt anyone on this website is gonna read what some 16 year old socailly awkward african american gamer geek writes but, you never know. This first blog post is basically the intro to who I think I am as a person in this world, I don't have many outlets and the ones i do have besides gaming, music, movies, and (insert masterbation joke) aren't really giving me a sense of creative power. So lets get this show on the road................. Well Ive always been a huge gamer, and…Continue
