It's an interesting topic I've thought up this evening, but not all educational books are dull. Some may have been what made us choose our careers, be it Science, nature, art, or even film. And they…Continue

A quick Playstation 4 talk, and how it achieved exactly what we all wanted it to

It has been a long 24 hours for me, when it all started with watching the Microsoft event yesterday afternoon, right up to the Sony event at (in this timezone) 2 in the morning. I had spent yesterday debating about staying up, but man was I happy I did. Because what happened in the very small hours of the morning was far greater than any of us expected, and yet at…See More

Movie Mania Roundup - Zero Dark Thirty, Warm Bodies, Flight

This week has been... not a very good one to put it fondly. A lot of things happening over on this side within the past few days have delayed me from getting these reviews up. However, I found enough time to watch all the three new home releases I rented, and will share my thoughts on them now. This might end up being shorter than usual, but hopefully not by a drastic extent. Let's start with "Zero Dark…See More

"The Great Gatsby" movie review - nkWhiteStar

The number of movies currently in the cinema right now appeared to give me a wealth of choice, but sadly, the big ones required re-watching the previous film which I didn't have time for today. So, not exactly sure what to expect from it, I went into The Great Gatsby in the hope it would be close to some of the praise critics have provided it. And despite me…See More

About Me:
Casual movie and videogame reviewer, whenever I can get the chance to see or play them. :)Spill was one of the reasons why my love for film revived, so I have a long way towards seeing all the movies that should be seen.

My choice in films would be varied aswell, I like films that either bring something original, or are made to be the best they can possibly be. Rather than enjoying one specific genre, I'm growing to enjoy lots of different area. They don't need to be a mega blockbuster to get my attention. :)

Comment by Korey:
nkWhiteStar, I totally agree. We are all friends here. I guess I took offense because I thought it was insult to the community as well as myself. I'm very proud of the community we've built up up here. It's not perfect, and arguments will be had, but for the most part it is one of the friendliest places on the net. To say we're spreading hate is not giving any credit to the support people show for each other here.

A quick talk about the XBox One, and Where Things Stand

Welcome one and all, to a very special episode of my blog posts. Usually I keep myself to just reviews, but as I am sure you all have seen today, Microsoft revealed their next generation console to the world. And the reception has been... certainly not what they hoped for at all. In fact, so much so that it could well have damaged the sale potential…

Hi. I noticed on your D.A. journal from a year back, dating the anniversary of your non-smoking trial. Talk about Irony. :P hehe
