It was a bit of a turn for yours truly, but i kind of expected it. i'm not an indie guy. so, my portfolios of pages from the big 3 (2 1/2?) held little appeal for the crowd assembled. still, if you're into indie comics and diy, you gotta check it out. there is a wider variety of created material at this show than any other show i've been to. i can't recommend it more highly. check it out next year.See More
due to communication snafus with the big brains at the show, i'm not on the exhibitors list. however, i will be there. i'll be set up across from the league. come see me and tell me i'm a fink. See More
Hey Jesus/John. I'v come to you for answers, ha. I kid.
I was just wondering do you know any technique (if you use photoshop) to darken your sketches without pixellating the image too much.
I've been use the threshold function but it makes my drawings very blocky and pixelly and it loses some of its 'umph'. ANy ideas? I know this is quite broad or vague
Hey. Yeah, you kindda misread the question on my forum but you still bring a good point. I, though not being an "old fart", also like the comic books of the old. I used to love it when the writers put solid work in. Theses days it is like: no ideas, ... here ... alternative reality ... I hate that crap.
