Hey Dylan. If you really want to be a director, don't ever stop focusing on it. Save your money and buy equipment. Don't count on other people until they show up with money/scripts/equipment/etc. You can do it, but it's gonna take lots and lots and lots of determination and most importantly, leadership skills on your part. Here's rooting for you, kid!
