I am thinking of getting a blu ray player this weekend. I am hearing some good things about it. My cousin has one and keeps saying if you love movies i need to get one. I am curious is it really that much better than DVD's or is it hype. And how much would a used blu ray player cost.

Ok i know a lot of people hate the guy but i don't get it. Why do people hate Michael Bay films so much. I kno they are cheesy popcorn bubble gum films but i find them entertaining. He doesn't try to make academy award winners he makes summer films. He has an audience he caters to, what is wrong with that. A lot of critics give this guy hell and i am just trying to understand why?
