I'm torn on the "Visual" side of Star Wars Prequels compared to Originals.
Mostly because it was gorgeous to look at, yes. But NOTHING in the prequels altered the way that movies are being made TODAY. CGI wasn't new before hand, and isn't new now. Models weren't used in prequels, they were in the originals. The robotics were NEW for the originals, but not for the Prequels. They might have attempted to use more "modern materials and controls", but even that didn't change the WAY that effects departments USE those techniques.
