Fallout 3 is like jumpin off a cliff with no shoot-
If you haven't Played an MMO, Or some of the new RPG's-
that are out right now. Stay away, your man just may be right!
But if you like RPG's, Play it. I'm not a huge fan of Fallout...
I think you should play the Mass Effect series if you love a great story!

- Team Fortress 2 is a fun shooter that's surprisingly gorey despite how cartoony it looks. That could work if you're looking for a shooter. Modern Warfare, Halo, or even TimeSplitters- you can't go wrong with any of those. Fighting: Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur or the Marvel vs Capcom series. Adventure: I've heard both Alan Wake and the Assassin's Creed games are very good.
