Sunshine, Daises, Butter-Mellow... A Harry Potter Retrospective From The Mouth Of An Original Fan. Part 2: Why Did It Have To Be Snakes?

Despite my obsessive love and adoration for the first "Potter" film, my 8-10 year old self was kind of upset with the lack of action in it. 2001-2003 was my ZOMG HARRY POTTER LORD OF THE RINGS phase. Anything that didn't have magic, mythical creatures, dark storylines and swords, was a waste if time. So, you can imagine my…

Sunshine, daisies, Butter-Mellow... A Harry Potter retrospective from the mouth of an original fan. Part 0: An Introduction.

May 25th, 1977. My 8 year old father stands apprehensively in line, waiting like so many others, to finally see "Star Wars Episode VI: A New HopeHe himself had admitted to me his lack of interest in the whole concept at the time, dismissing it as a Flash Gordon rip-off that wouldn't last 3 weeks in the cinema. He was not alone in this sentiment, and he was not alone in being completely and utterly wrong.  Star Wars was the series that… Continue

URGENT! The future of a potentially great Spilldo hangs in the balance!

Okay folks, this is a biggun. I'm writing a movie, not a shitty little backyard Youtube weekend project, but a legitimate, Superhero, Comedy, Action, Highschool, Dramatic movie. The whole thing is completely planned out, in my mind,,,   and the script is in it's infancy, but I've gotten…

My thoughts before, and during the first ten minutes of "Watchmen".

I find it incredibly difficult to comprehend the levels of disappointment that I had felt after this films credits rolled. This film had a bigger build up than any film that I remember. Cloverfield had nothing on this

bitch. I was so overly hyped just by the eittle snippets and hints that the

gave to this movies production in the HBO special:

Comic Books Unbound. I spent almost a half-hour just trying to find a downloadable trailer…

My top 10 Disney Animated movies.

Like the title says, these are my personal, incredibly biassed reviews of the traditional 2-D animated that I call my favorites. I'm gonna try and spread it out for as long as I can, just to piss you peoples of. : D.

NUMBAH 10!

Beauty and the Beast.

Leave your gay jokes at the door douche. Laugh all you want, but this is an amazing film. The story is involving, the animation is at times stunning, and the cast does it job with flying colors. And I… Continue

WHAT..? What the hell are you talking about JACK GREEN...the creator has been part of the production and pitchin ideas and sharing them with the director. didn't you see the production blogs?..dis will be a faithful adaption to the comics...it may have a different ending but that was both the creator and the directors choice.. cant wait...we in the UK will watch it earlier than the US...cumon england
