Howdy, fellow Spillios! You might know me as the funniest and handsomest member of The League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen, the best podcast on Spill.com! No? Then you must not be remembering correctly. Because I am very handsome.
What you might not know is that I also run a fun little side website called Lounge Geeks! The site features many personalities you might recognize from the LEOG and other Spill shows, including Jason Murphy, Kayla Kromer, Randy Lander, Greg J Amani Smith, Brian Salisbury, Beau Paul, Peter "Fungusmonkey" Sorenson, and more!
We are sorta a collective of geeks that create a variety show of online content in varying mediums. Here are some of our "shows":
The TV Dudes - Greg, Grant and Randy gather each week (Thursdays) for this roughly hour and a half audio podcast on what is new with TV, their favorite TV programs, and take listener questions. Each week they also make a silly TV related video which you can see here.
Loose Canon Comics - Randy, Jason and Beau present a weekly (Tuesdays) audio podcast on all things comics and take listener questions!
Geek Techniques - Kayla Kromer and her crew give us some simple "do-it-yourself" instructions on how to create some of the greatest geeky stuff for you and your friends!
The Greatest Drunk Stories Ever Told - Meet Jason and Grant. These fellas meet at a new bar in Austin each week to tell some of the greatest drunk stories they have ever heard. New drunk stories post every Sunday. Keep Drinkin!
Hatchet Men - The newest show on the scene, Brian Salisbury his corporation of sharply-dressed gentlemen take a long, long lunch to discuss the finer points of cinema's finest genre: horror. Broadcasting from the swankiest joint in town, Austin's Highball Lounge, these captains of industry pound cocktails and wax poetic about one new topic each episode in an effort to bring the classiness back to horror. If the monsters and slashers of their favorite nightmares don't kill them, the failing of their livers surely will. Do you have what it takes to be a Hatchet Man?
These shows and more will be presented on Lounge Geeks. Check out the site and be sure to follow us on twitter and like us on facebook for the latest updates!

sowith the cuts to spill is it a possibility there could be a new unnamed jeff and jason videogame show coming to the lounge geeks page? and/or maybe the return of lose cannon comics?
Hey, I just heard the news on ACOCO. Congrats!
You'll make a great Dad, as I know the child will be raised with a healthy respect for Lost. ;-)
Got it! Thanks so much!
I look forward to taking Greg, Britt, and yourself to some CLASSY spots next time you're in town. You should come when the NQP crew returns to NYC. OML it was one for the record books.

Hey man, Thanks for the wonderful time I had at Lounge Geeks breakfast.
I must admit, I was a little taken aback with the fans crowding Beau just sitting down with crutches and not even given a chance to eat. It's my first Con so digesting that aspect of it was a bit much at times. I guess, that's why I enjoyed being reserved during the entire event because it's relentless. Besides, it shouldn't matter how much face time I get with the Lounge Geeks, Spill crew, etc. There were so many cool members to meet.
Tell you a great story. So one night, I was boozing it up with Porter and Humungus and Poopa Papa Palpatine came by and wanted to buy me a drink. I said, "I'm not like that man. I am one of the guys who says we are ALL cool people. We can get our own drinks and have fun. Besides the guy at the Four Seasons should be the LAST to be bought drinks."
He said, "You don't understand. I owe you."
Turns out, I didn't know that close to a year ago, Conejita asked me for financial contract advice on a graphic design job...which saved him from getting screwed out of $$$$$$ coin from some sketchy employers.
I was floored and flattered...and very, very overwhelmed. But it also made me feel like I wasn't wasting my time on spill trying to look out for kids in an amoral world.
THAT made spill dot con worth it. Yea, the bells and whistles are cute but it was having the opportunity to meet someone I had inadvertently helped out was very cool and I can see now, why you guys devote time every year.
I had a small request. I am interested in giving the NY B&V a face lift and I liked the way you used icons to be the link to your TV show thread discussions in the TV Dudes group. Any chance you could teach me how to do that? Thanks much in advance and of course, fair compensation from NYC is yours.
Bless you and your charming wife,
D.d.
